I don't know if you guys have heard but this week researchers found that there are mutant wolves roaming the deserted streets of Chernobyl that could hold the cure to cancer Kanye West finally dropped his long awaited album and it's gone number one in 72 countries including Israel we've started to notice something very strange about the Apple Vision pros and I've got a serious update about me and the Thailand kids beef coming at you all of that and so much more so let's get cry okay where should we start today right let's let's actually let's [ __ ] start with the craziest wolves mutant ones in Chernobyl curing cancer the [ __ ] sounds crazy because it is a new study suggests that the wolves that they've been studying for a number of years may have developed genomes that are resilient to cancer so I guess thank you radiation and according to the researchers the Wolves could potentially be the key to helping humans finally find find a cure and if you watched last week's episode you'd know that my bingo card looking real accurate right now now it's important to have a bit of context to this whole situation because it's been more than 35 years since 100,000 people fled Chernobyl just to try and escape the powerful radiation blast and while humans may have never returned Wildlife such as wolves and horses are now the ones that have taken over and roam the wastelands of the evacuated City and this is starting to sound like something straight out of a movie the godamn right reality is Stranger than [ __ ] movies now this [ __ ] started about 10 years ago when researchers went to Chernobyl and put radio callers on baby wolves to track how much radiation they were exposed to and ultimately how that radiation would affect them but astonishingly despite them being exposed to an amount of radiation more than six times the safety limit for humans every single day for their entire lives they survived now researchers have a couple of theories but they currently believe that they seem to have developed and that's that's a key word developed altered immune system similar to patients undergoing radiation therapy now why this is different to other animals that are cancer resilient like the naked mole rat unlike this disturbing work of art uh wolves have developed the genome rather than just being born with it job for editor for everyone can we put a picture of a naked mole rat with lipstick and eyelashes and then it's going to be playing for you while I do this Yas queen born this way H man what the [ __ ] we're talking about cancer here so researchers unsurprisingly are now thinking okay [ __ ] well you know if they developed it let's study that [ __ ] and see if we can Implement that in humans and save millions of lives how ironic would it be if the chobble disaster the one that exposed thousands of people to lethal amounts of cancer causing radiation would eventually be the disaster that triggers a sequence of events and then finds the cure to cancer and saves Millions right we are very far away from that whole situation but if Netflix if you aren't taking goddamn notes right now I'd be very disappointed in you cuz that shit's a banger I'll keep you updated on how their research goes but for now moving on okay let's talk about Kanye West because love him or hate him this man cannot be cancelled because the entire world is bumping his new album right now after just one day of its release it's gone number one pretty much everywhere and I mean this is after everyone including his own fans really thought yeah n he's he's canceled this time he's done pretty much every company he's ever worked with decided to drop him and distance themselves even his own fans we're like you know I love Kanye but [ __ ] don't know if I can defend what he's saying right now but fast forward to today not only does it seem that everyone's just forgotten about all of the things that he said but his manager has tweeted something which is even more significant the biggest artist of our time just uploaded his own album independently this is huge the major label system is in for a rude awakening now to be fair I didn't know about this and when I saw it I was like you know what actually I kind of forgive Kanye for releasing the album freaking two months late because without a publisher which also split with him around the time of all of the controversy all of the [ __ ] that Publishers would have decades and maybe even centuries of experience with yay would have had to do himself including licensing marketing recording mixing mastering packaging branding press releasing and writing R plugging social media planning tour date booking and planning collection of money and royalties and a whole bunch more how do I do one cut woo and this is the first album that Kanye's done independently so I'm imagining he's ran into a whole bunch of [ __ ] and actually one thing that I know that he ran into was the licensing because a number of tracks haven't appeared on the album that you know he he released in Pre samples one of them was the nii Minaj feature the other was the Backstreet Boys and a very strange one from Aussie Osborne and I say strange because this situation is weird as hell in October Aussie and his wife Sharon dressed up as Kanye and Bianca for Halloween and then in a wild and baffling 180 yesterday he posted on his Instagram saying that he refused yay from using his sample because and I quote he is an anti-semite and has caused Untold heartache to many he went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party last night I want no association with this man man can we just I want no association with this man and I say that phrase with my editor really emphasizing this picture right here and if you truly believe he is an anti-s semi and he's caused Untold hurt to many people would you be dressing up as someone like that I know what I'm going to dress up as for um Halloween this year hit can I let me think of a more less controversial person Jimmy s [ __ ] I don't know Saddam Hussein or some [ __ ] I mean the only logical explanation that I can think of is perhaps it was his PR team or legal team that was you know posting it on his behalf because he used the sample and maybe they want to sue him or something I don't know weird either way it seems that yay is officially uncancelled for the same reasons that we all still buy iPhones eat McDonald's and wear fast fashion this isn't this isn't this isn't fast fashion actually and anyone's questioning why I'm wearing such a big [ __ ] jacket in here um I didn't have time to warm the garage up this is a garage by the way so it gets pretty icy in here pretty lit though sh you see even if we don't agree with apple allegedly having sweat shops in India McDonald mistreating and just [ __ ] up those animals that we eat allegedly and the environmental Devastation caused by affordable clothing even if we don't agree with all of that the problem is that when they these companies produce or people produce something that is so good or so convenient it's goddamn hard to boycott what do you think what do you think of maybe just over a week and uh people have been treating them and using them like they've been out for years you see normally when a new technology arrives like AI the smartphone or the internet it takes people a while to not only understand how to use it but to accept it but we in the modern day are already seeing people walk around the streets and Crossing roads with these things strapped to their face people are on the subway typing away in thin air with a blank expression like it's just completely normal and yes thanks to the fact that you can see the world in perfect HD people are even driving their godamn cause with these things and just remember all of this and we're a week in now I don't know if it's for the fact that we've already seen so so many movies that have been made about AR goggles like Ready Player 1 or The Simpsons predicting this [ __ ] but with this one it really feels like unlike so many other pieces of tech in the past the vision Pros really feel like one of those products where our Collective imaginations are in front and the tech is only catching up to us now and don't think there's a good case for that cuz let me let me back it up with the facts we found out this week that apple have actually been working on the vision Pros since at least 2007 the same year that they just came out with the first iPhone remember that thing how are they working on these two products at the same time and I guess what's cool and slightly terrifying at the same time is as we're already seeing right now if you release a really cutting edge disruptive product that the public have already been ready for you get Black Mirror real quick I mean think of it it's the same concept as the iPad kids phenomena how the hell are you going to give a 2-year-old an iPad and they know how to work it better than a 70-year-old doesn't make no sense and I mean if you've seen Ryan Tran's video where he spends 50 hours in the vision Pros you'd see a glimpse into the dystopian future that we are barreling towards because bro literally watched his own memories because this thing can permanently record everything that you're seeing around you and hearing ad me just give it some time because I guarantee you right now this episode of Black Mirror is going to play out in someone's lives word for word bar for bar I I'm I'm going to put money on it 10 years come back here 10 little bit of a pace changer let's talk about Biden's memory because Republican or Democrat left or right it's not being a good week for Biden this week not only did he talk about meeting European leaders at a summit when those leaders had already passed away twice but also documents from a bombshell investigation into Biden says that his memory appears to have significant limitations and he even forgot things like when he was vice president when his term ended and and I quote did not remember even within several years when his son Bo died and somehow that's not even the craziest part now all of this new information comes from a long awaited deep and special investigation into Joe Biden's mishandling of classified documents and whether or not he should face criminal charges for it the good news for him is that despite the report finding that Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials he will not face criminal charges good hey but that's exactly where the bad news starts investigators said that one of the reasons they recommend he doesn't face charges is because he would likely present himself to a jury as he did during our interview of him as a sympathetic well-meaning elderly old man sorry not old I put that in there elderly man with a poor memory that sentence right there in politics is like a like is like a hand grenade grenade therefore and they continue it would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him by then a former president into his 80s of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willingness so they said that he shouldn't face charges because he's so forgetful he wouldn't convince a jury that's wild however let's represent the other side Biden's legal team have since hit back saying that the reports description of Biden's memory are inaccurate and that the inability to recall events that have happened years ago are common place among Witness Witnesses and also they note that one of the first interviews happened on the day where the whole Israel and Palestine thing blew up so you could be a little bit like you know stressed that day either way I guess the question that I have for you guys is that is this a devastating political blow that you just can't come back from or is he fit to serve another four years and while you're answering that we're moving on let's talk about these pesky streaming platforms because the likes of Disney and Netflix are now desperately trying to get into the gaming industry but the reason why is very concerning we all probably saw this week that Disney made a massive move by buying a 1.5 billion with a B stake into epic games to create an expansive Universe within fortnite and I mean just to put that in perspective that is become Disney's biggest entry into the world of games ever and just to Rattle off a few more Netflix as we all already seen have been aggressively making moves into the gaming industry you have the Apple arcade Amazon and Luna and just the list goes on and you want to know why let me break down a little secret for you here the global gaming industry is worth almost double the music and film industry combined they're seeing a freaking giant holy Cash Cow and they want a goddamn piece now it would be concerning enough if the only problem with giants like Disney getting involved was them influencing the creative process and disneying it I mean we're all seeing the kind of stuff that they're putting out right now but that is not the only concern concern their main concern is their business model and their love for all godamn money allegedly no it's pretty apparent that they love our money I mean Netflix made their name by coming along with their revolutionary business model and turned the film and television completely upside down and I mean fine maybe it needed to happen I mean we were all somewhat happy paying our $10 a month subscription for all of our movies until that wasn't enough for them either this and last year we saw all of them pretty much in unison decide we need more more of your money buddy they not only introduced ads but they also all raised their prices we're out here fighting for our lives shopping at Aldi to cut costs and you want more let's calm let's let's calm down this is a passionate topic and guess which industry they're all trying to take their revolutionary subscription business model to next yeah you God damn right imagine a world where GTA 6 finally drops but instead of the oneof $150 it's $10 a month I mean [ __ ] a lot of people are still playing GTA 5 today so just imagine if that [ __ ] was a subscription for the last 10 years I mean just for a little bit of fun I uh did the math and that would be uh $1,200 that you would have been paying for GTA 5 and the most worrying part about all of this is when you have companies like Disney Netflix and apple like we saw this week they got a whole lot of money to throw around so if they set their sites on the gaming industry I don't know if there's any stopping them moving on before I okay moving on ah [ __ ] wow okay here's a really good update next month I might have to go to
