AI Summary
Summary: "The REAL Reason People Hate Beast Games"
The Massive Gap Between Critic and Audience Ratings

- This dramatic divergence raises questions about whether viewers and critics are evaluating the same content.
- The show is a massive production feat:
- Used 1,100 cameras simultaneously
- Generated 300 years worth of footage
- Required $100M+ budget, with millions spent on storage and infrastructure
- Built a full island for filming and constructed 1,000 drop tunnels in the first episode
- Despite the low critic score, the show hit #1 on Prime Video in 80 countries and amassed 50 million views in 25 days, becoming Amazon’s most-streamed unscripted show ever — even before all episodes aired.
Why the Critics Hate It (and Why Audiences Love It)
Generational Taste Divide
- Critics often prioritize depth, character development, and narrative complexity — elements absent in Beast Games.
- The show feels like a fast-paced, edited compilation of Mr. Beast’s YouTube videos, which many critics find shallow and lacking in emotional or storytelling substance.
- The show features minimal character development, with contestants appearing as "flunkies" in a dizzying blur of quick cuts, focusing almost entirely on Mr. Beast.
Audience Loyalty & Familiarity
- Mr. Beast’s content is extremely popular, especially among younger audiences.
- Many viewers are already fans of his YouTube channel, so Beast Games feels like a natural extension of that content.
- The show’s high energy, humor, and relatability resonate strongly with younger demographics who are less likely to watch traditional TV or films.
Marketing and Expectations
- Mr. Beast has hundreds of millions of social media followers, creating unrealistic expectations for a show that doesn’t follow traditional TV formats.
- Critics may be more critical because they’re used to structured storytelling, while audiences are more accustomed to short-form, viral content.
Comparison to Other Shows
- The video notes that Venom (a film) had a similar split — critics gave it a 41% rating, audiences gave it 80%.
- This reinforces the idea that generational preferences are driving the divide.
Additional Stories in the Video
DeepSeek and National Security Concerns
- The U.S. government is investigating whether DeepSeek poses a national security threat.
- OpenAI claims DeepSeek used its AI model to train its own — suggesting possible intellectual property theft.
- Critics point out that major tech companies (Apple, Nvidia, etc.) have used 170,000+ YouTube videos to train AI models without permission — raising ethical and legal gray areas.
Mysterious Handmade Signs in LA
- Satellite images show large, hand-written signs in LA with words like "HELP," "FBI," "TERRORISM," and "TRAFO" near train tracks and shipping containers.
- A man named Jose has been identified as the writer, reportedly doing so for over two years.
- A white Frenchie was found tied up near the signs, and a man claimed he felt unsafe after trying to rescue it.
- The LAPD confirms:
- The signs have existed for over a year
- There is no evidence of human trafficking
- The individual is a trespasser, not a threat
- Jose has refused mental health evaluation or housing
Zero Shootings in NYC for 5 Days
- The NYPD reported zero shooting victims in New York City for five consecutive days — the longest such streak since the 1990s.
- The streak ended when a man in East New York was shot, breaking the record.
The World’s Largest Iceberg on a Collision Course
- Iceberg A23A, which broke off from Antarctica decades ago, is now moving toward South Georgia, a remote British island.
- The iceberg is larger than five New York Citys stacked together.
- Scientists are monitoring its path due to potential ecological threats — including wildlife stampedes of penguins, seals, and birds.
- The island has no permanent residents, but the environmental impact could be significant.
Conclusion
The video argues that the disparity between critic and audience ratings for Beast Games is not due to poor quality, but rather a generation gap in content preferences.
- Critics value depth and narrative, while audiences respond to energy, familiarity, and entertainment value.
- The show is a phenomenon of modern digital culture, reflecting how younger audiences consume content — not through traditional storytelling, but through viral, fast-paced, YouTube-style formats.
- The other stories — from DeepSeek to LA signs to the iceberg — highlight how modern society is grappling with technology, surveillance, and environmental change.
Ultimately, Beast Games may not be "deep" in a traditional sense, but it is a cultural milestone in how content is created and consumed today.

this week the world's largest iceberg is now on a crash course with a British Island mysterious handmade help signs are being spotted in La the US government is now looking to see if deep seek is a national security threat shock Beast games has been hit with a Savage 133% from critics but strangely a massive 90% from audiences what's going on there we got speed literally becoming the mayor of a town in Peru so you know the deal all of that and so much more subscribe if you want to stay up to date and let's geted okay let's kick today off with this because I've never actually looked at the reviews for Beast games but when I did wo I actually don't think I've ever seen such a big separation between the reviews from the audience and the critics the critics you know aka the film EXP SPS and all of that whatever you want to call them they gave it am measly 13% that is extremely low while audiences gave it a 90% which is extremely high I mean it's to the point where it's like are you even watching the same thing one side is saying it is absolutely trash the other side saying some of the best corn casserole I've ever watched and I'm actually trying to think is there a bigger Separation on rod and tomatoes I mean one of the biggest I found was was a Venom which is like 41 to 80% and I lowkey actually agree with the Critics on this one but 13 and 90 some an interesting is going on here especially since you know objectively speaking all right let's let's speak with facts only Beast games whether you love it or hat it pulling this show off was a feat of production they broke 40 World Records like for example the most cameras ever used in a production 1,100 all running simultaneously I think he said that they had something like 300 years worth of footage at the end of it imagine editing 300 years worth I mean Alex could probably do that in a single day turnaround but they don't have Alex I mean he even said that he had to spend millions of dollars alone on just having space on servers to store all that footage they had to house 1,000 people which which is crazy they had to build an entire Island for that they had to build 1,000 you know in the first episode that 1,000 of those like Drop tunnel things and I mean the list goes on and on they said they had a budget of like over 100 million to execute this and then still speaking just objectively on the numbers when Beast games dropped it hit number one on Prime video across 80 countries it shattered streaming records amassing 50 million views in just 25 days which became Amazon's most streamed unscripted show ever and this is without all 10 episodes even being out yet so you hear all of that but then you see the critic score of 133% summon is up there right and I've been doing a little thinking and and I think it could be down to a few reasons I mean option one is actually trash as a standalone show and critics are right but Mr Beast fans are so loyal that they just positive review bummed Corin casserole out of it or two we're seeing a huge separation in the taste of you know different generations of what they like to watch I mean like if you read some of the reviews from people like the telegraph you know it's clear to see that they've never watched his content the insipid Mr Beast joined by his the insipid Mr Beast is joined by a ro the insipid Mr Beast is joined by a rotating car the insipid Mr Beast is joined by a rotating the insipid Mr Beast is joined by a rotated cast I can't even read this the insipid Mr Beast is joined by a rotating cast of flunkies apparently regulars on his YouTube channel so they they don't even know the side people they don't even know Chandler there is little danger of them overshadowing their boss however as they hardly get any screen time nor do the contestants who we meet in a dizzying blur of fast edits the focus is almost entirely on Donaldson how they going to call Mr Beast Donaldson I mean what they are basically doing is describing his YouTube videos which may I add are objectively some of the most popular in the world but the key point in its popularity is with a younger audience you these critics often are seeking depth and character development yeah which is something that regular television and TV series well they they tend to emphasize but Beast games however is very much a new generation of type of series you know it feels like multiple massive YouTube videos which if you're used to that and let's be honest a lot of kids are not even watching movies now they're just predominantly watching YouTube well then of course you're going to prefer this and also actually another key Point here is like we mentioned uh Venom before and critics hated it I I didn't really like it either but if you go on Tik Tok just go on the I I guarantee go on Venom's Last Dance Tik Tok page it bangs millions millions of views every video it's insane today you show popular on Tik Tok not popular at all for the critics starting to look like a generation thing to me IGN says it's largely dull without much of anything to get invested in relying on constantly shouting at us about the stakes while F FR frenetics editing slices everything into pieces I mean whatever so those are the main two things there's also you know you could argue about the marketing for this you know I don't think a lot of Regular Shows uh on these streaming platforms are used to this kind of hype building you know Bros got like hundreds of millions of followers across all the socials and that could create much higher expectations among critics which only would lead to even more harsh ratings if it doesn't meet their standards either way there is something interesting going on here and let me know what you guys think do you think the critics are being too harsh or are the audience's scores just being too generous let me know in the comments but moving on this next one is crazy well we would always know it was going to come right it's only a matter of time us officials are now looking into deep seek to see if there are any national security implications and I'm just going to have a wild stab in the dark and predict that there will be you know and maybe maybe the only way to resolve that is to um sell it to a US company speaking of which you know and if you want the whole rundown of the Deep seek thing and stuff I've done a separate video on that in my last video go watch that but also open AI has now come through and they're like we've got evidence to show that deep seek used their company's AI model to train its own hinting that there could be a case for intellectual property theft but I mean on that point what material any AI model uses to train its AI is kind of a massive gray area I mean you got companies like apple Nvidia and thropic and they all used about 170,000 YouTube videos to train their models and we don't hear anything about that and that was without YouTube's permission so I mean I don't know it feels like one of those things where it's only a matter of time before uh deep seek meets Tik tok's fate moving on okay let's talk about this next story because something strange is going on in LA right now because this week people started noticing via satellite images dozens of these large handmade signs spelling out words creepy words like help LD f FBI trafo and terrorismo and I'm obviously given the mystery behind who and more importantly why these words were being written in some of the most dodgy areas next to train tracks and shipping containers well has caused massive speculation online so much so that people have started going there in person to try and figure this stuff out and my favorite one was a guy only known by La guy on Twitter and um Let me let me show you this now when he arrived not only did he find that the sign were still there but among the trash by the train tracks there was also a white Frenchie tied up with no owner in sight more on him in a second and even spray painted on that wall was the word help so um I don't think bro did that in like one week now La guy continues digging and find some more people in the area to ask about these things and um even though they knew about the these signs they had no idea who was writing them and what's crazier is that if you actually follow these train tracks a couple of kilometers there's even more help signs written in another parking lot now a few hours later after that La guy leaves then he comes back to try and rescue the dog and he even manages to speak to someone who says that the person writing all of these messages is named Jose we have a name he then speaks to a second lady who confirms this Jose guy has been doing it for years but no one knows yet if it's for a specific reason and help is genuinely needed God damn them no one's been giving him help for like 2 years if that's the case or is it just something like mental health issues and then La guy persistent real he goes back at night to try and rescue this dog and buy it off of them however once they refused to sell it to him he said he felt extremely unsafe that he was surrounded by these people and that he was told for his own safety he needs to stop recording now after this went viral Mega viral um the LAPD has since commented on the situation they said that even though it's getting a lot of traction now these signs have been there for over a year also saying that there was no one in danger and that there is no evidence of human trafficking which is obviously everyone's main concern they say that basically a man is trespassing on all of these areas and just writing these misleading messages they say that they do know who this individual is so do we Jose uh that's a Citizens journalist information coming to us and that he has refused housing or a mental health evaluation so mystery solved I guess I mean these Mysteries always tend to be something a lot less crazier then your imagination dreams up and I guess in this case that is very good but moving on oh staying in America because this week we made history that's because the NYPD announced that for the first time in 30 blooming years there has been zero shooting victims in New in stop he's already dead God damn it sorry about that there has been zero shooting victims in New York City for a five day period there you go they say that this is the longest that New York has gone without a shooting victim since the beginning of their compstat era if you don't know what compstat is doesn't even matter at this point but the world is healing however uh just just a couple of hours after they announced that a man in East New York Brooklyn was shot and the streak is over so moving on ah also ah the world's largest ice cube no it's not an ice cube it uh freaking Ice Cube Iceberg Alex don't put an image of an ice cube world's largest iceberg heading smash British Island here's what you need to know I guess kind of topical but like New York City right take five of those New York cities Jam them together put them in the ocean that is the size of this ice not an ice cube Iceberg and he's called a23a I mean it's not the funnest name but scientists you know anyway our a23a Ice Cube broke off from Antarctica decades ago but it was always you know stuck on the sea floor right until recently at first he started moving slowly but then once the currents and the winds got behind it woo our boy he started moving and now scientists are anxiously checking their satellite images every day because it's on its way it's on that course to smash into South Georgia Georgia in in Europe Georgia in America we're not talking about you you're fine South Georgia is a remote British Island that actually good thing uh doesn't have any permanent residence but what it does have is flocks flocks of wildlife I don't know if that's the word to use hordes of wildlife colonies of wildlife stampedes of wild I don't even know and so basically scientists are worried now that birds seals and Penguins they could be in danger and if you just look Alex show them show them what's it stake here you want those animals to die oh and even even another tragic twist this might be our final resting place for our big boy a23a because the further that he drifts North the more he melts and pieces crack away like the pieces of my heart oh it's an emotional ending moving on also this week Donald Trump has offered millions of federal employees 8 month months of pay to resign sounds strange let's jump into it he on the first day of his office he signed little scribbles executive order right and he said all 2 million federal employees well all of you get back into the office 5 days a week and all of the people working from home they said nah we've been chilling for a long time they haven't been chilling they've been working hard at home right but it's nice working at home so they started kicking off and then Trump said all right all right let let me let's do this I will offer you a buy out plus benefits that 8 months pay plus whatever benefits they got and that'll cover you until September all you got to do is reply to the email and say resign that's it it's a wild way to quit your job I guess the Trump Administration said that they expect around 2,000 workers to accept this offer and if they do it'll save the US government around $100 billion so the question is what do you think is this fair or is this insane oh actually and also speaking about the Trump Administration today let me let me get into let me get into it for this one today we are applying to become press at the White House anyone doesn't know the backstory of that then I don't even know what to say to you you see the Trump Administration recently announced that they were going to be allocating press credentials to New Media like ticktockers podcasters content creators independent journalists Etc I'm a Tik tocker slash YouTuber slash that's about it so I thought hey why not let's let's be a part of history and at least try and become the first tick tocker to gain access what you think about Mr Putin and Kim jong-un's new Bromance the fact that he's getting Bromance the fact that he's I mean my personal highlight is going to be the fact that uh she's going to have to say uh news daddy what's your question in a very serious situation wow that that that is history in the Mak making right there I mean it's not all the joke it is literally the name of my company okay so let's apply right so it is on the website wh house.gov neww media so they ask for my first name last name email primary social media account phone number zip code and news Outlet if applicable so let's fill this on in in and boom officially applied let's hope news daddy X White House coming soon and as soon as they update me with the yes or no I'll keep you updated moving on oh and also on that note if I did gain access to the White House I could ask them your questions about stuff like this because also this week we witness one of the most insane 48 hours between between the United States and Colombia like this is it's crazy so as you probably heard by now Trump is using military aircraft for his Mass deportation operation however when a couple of those aircraft you know carrying all of these illegal migrants tried to bring them back to their home country the president of Colombia said nah blocked go back he said that he would only accept repatriated citizens on civilian planes without treating them like criminals now Trump didn't like this at all he posted on his social media calling the president socialist and unpopular among his people and then slapped the country with 25% tariffs on all Goods coming out of the country to America and then said if this doesn't change after one week it goes up to 50% he also issued a US Travel ban for Colombian officials and any of their family members and any supporters of the Colombian government and actually a bunch more which we're really going to get into and so hearing about this Colombia clapped back and he this President wrote a huge huge response saying things like he didn't really like traveling to the US anyway because it's boring that he doesn't like America's oil that Trump will wipe out the human species because of greed Trump's blockades do not scare him he doesn't shake hands with white slavers and then hit the United States with 50% tariffs as well and I mean just when we thought that things were spiraling out of control we wake up the very next day to the White House announcing that Colombia has agreed to accept migrants arriving on US military aircraft without limitation or delay not going to lie Colombian president folded like a lawn chair all tariffs from both sides completely lifted gone away man this is going to be a wild year and it feels like it's time for Rapid Fire news but before we do say hello to our three sacrificial Lambs today that is going on the whip wall to remind us all to subscribe to the Channel or else you don't want to end up like this guy remember these three names because they're going to tell you to subscribe to the channel a lot of whippings today huh I said I'd make up for L time subscribe to the channel Speed actually became the mayor of a town in Peru this week now the actual mayor of Lima he greeted him he got him to sign a document and then handed him a certificate bro even sued from the government building and then backflipped off of the balcony of that government building I mean luckily bro was only mayor for about an hour but he did get his own wik little Wikipedia page which is pretty cool next a report was released this week that projects the United Kingdom's uh population to go from 67.2 million from 2022 to 72.5 million in 2032 and the office for National statistics show that net migration is the only source of that population growth they said that in that 10-year period 9.91 million will immigrate long-term to the UK while 4.98 million will simultaneously be immigrating out of the UK next Microsoft is in talks to buy Tik Tok yes remember Tik Tok that time is still ticking away oh it's worth noting that uh this isn't even the first time they tried to buy the app back in 2020 they apparently tried to make a similar deal but um Tik Tok said no next a teacher in Florida of course was arrested after police found 100 drunk teenagers that were allegedly at her house she apparently got caught hosting a wild party and giving them all alcohol what I don't even I don't even know what to say to that what is happening in America Next Trump also banned transgender individuals from serving in the military and this is a move that has already been massively controversial and also is sparked legal battles so we don't even know if it's going to fully go through and then also I think this is the last one but Google have decided that they will follow along and they will be renaming uh the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America on Google Maps which everyone uses and when people started complaining like how dare you go along with the Badness they basically said it's pretty much protocol for us to go ahead with official government orders and that is your news Roundup for the week these uh these roundups are I'll be honest becoming increasingly difficult to get out so um as always huge shout out to Alex and um I hope you enjoyed the video no like seriously I hope you actually enjoy the video enough to like to subscribe because until we get other people in news Daddy to help us plow through it's literally only me and Alex right now putting putting stuff into these videos and um it's getting taxing I'm not going to lie so shut up no one cares about you love you love you bye [Music] wo might might keep my whip on on the old bod today you know why not

🆘 MYSTERIOUS HELP SIGNS APPEAR ALL OVER LA
Satellite images revealed dozens of massive HELP signs scattered near LA train tracks and shipping containers. Were these calls for help? Evidence of human trafficking? The LAPD later claimed it was the work of a single man named Jose, who’s been doing this for years. Mystery solved? Maybe. But the internet still isn’t convinced.

🌎 COLOMBIA VS. USA – THE INSANE 48-HOUR SHOWDOWN
Things got heated fast between Trump and Colombia. It started when Colombia refused to accept deported migrants on military planes, demanding they arrive on civilian flights instead. Trump wasn’t having it—he slapped Colombia with 25% tariffs, banned travel for Colombian officials, and called their president a socialist failure. Colombia fired back with 50% tariffs and called the US a “greedy empire.” But suddenly—they caved.
