Oh, since we last spoke, Neymar was just given a $1 billion inheritance from a fan he never met. A man was just caught living in the crawl space underneath someone's home. A woman's life is being destroyed online after she made a little boy give her the home run ball. Deadly protests have broken out in Nepole after the government banned social media. and Apple are only hours away from releasing the iPhone 17. And there has never been more riding on an event for them than this. All of that and so much more. Subscribe and like the video if you're rushing to turn down the volume. Yeah. Come on, Alex. And let's stop the deception. And let's get reps in. And let's get the reps in. Oh, we got him good there. Okay, I think we've got to kick off today with the fact that Karens have just made a huge comeback over the weekend because, you know, like since about 2020, it seems like, you know, the amount of times you hear the word Karen with crazy videos been a little bit dwindling. But all of that changed this weekend at a baseball game in Philadelphia. Let's go. um after a homerown ball was hit into the stands. You know, as usual when this happens, a bunch of people start scrambling to be the one to grab the ball. And this time, the winner is this father in the red t-shirt, who then goes back to his son, gives him the ball along with a big hug, even the eyes closed. Beautiful. But then that's when this Karen comes along, grabs him by the arm, literally gets into his face, as they do, uh, claiming that the ball was snatched out of her hands, and he was in the wrong. Now, clearly, as you can see through their back and forth, he disagrees, but it seems like he just wants the problem to go away. So, he takes the ball from his son and gives it to her, and she walks away all happy with herself, I guess. to crush me. >> Bye. >> I'm glad you heard that. >> Now, similar to the CEO cap snatch that we covered like I think it was two weeks back. Uh yeah, this woman is going viral online and arguably it will probably change her life like many people caught in this position has before. I mean, just look at some of the memes that they're making about her already. They're saying that she's Smeaggle and the ball is her precious. I mean, memes have gone to a whole another level since AI has come about. And to make it worse, if you look at this screenshot and there she is in the red and white, she doesn't even appear to be with any children. Because I get it, if she went over there and she's like, you know, that ball was for my daughter, then we have a different conversation here. But I don't see any kids. So, if that is the case and a grown woman just basically took this ball from a little boy, then that is just as bad as the CEO cap snatch, maybe even worse. Either way, like the CEO one, this one kind of has a happy ending. And I say kind of because despite this whole situation, like the boy gets given a gift package from the staff at the stadium, and he even meets one of the players after the game who gives him a bat. But despite all of this, listen to his response when he was interviewed by local media after the game. >> I wasn't very happy that we had to give it to her, but we can't win. She was going to get it anyways. >> Yeah, that that was that was a tough watch because, you know, he's what 10 11 years old and already at that age, he's learning the mindset of what did he say? We can't win. She was going to get it anyway. I bet Alex is furious. That's not how he would raise him. Raise up to be a warrior. And I think that's exactly when it occurred to me. On the surface, this whole situation seems really trivial and silly. H it's a little baseball. Why do people care? But in reality, there is a reason why it has captured the attention of hundreds of millions of people around the world. And I think it's because everyone sees themsself in one person or another in this situation. And it forces you to ask yourself, what would you do if you were one of them? What's the right thing to do if you were the lady and someone took your ball? What is the right thing to do if you're the father and someone presses you and gets in your face in a situation like that? How would you feel if you were the child and and an adult, a grown-up is is demanding that you give something back that your father gave you? How dare you? I mean, there's even a huge divide online of how people are seeing the father now. Some are saying the father's response is jarring because it's a clear indication that his natural response to danger isn't to protect or stand up for his son, but to recoil in fear. At a base level, every father's immediate response should be to stand up and protect their kid. This guy tweeted, "Weak men create hard times." But then there are others who are defending how he dealt with the whole situation, saying, "Imagine looking at this photo and deciding that the dad is the problem because he gave a $3 baseball back to a crazy woman." Demented. Fathers like this should be celebrated and not slandered. So, you see, this whole situation is Shakespearean moral conundrums. And you would have to make these decisions in a split moment while a crazy lady is in your face. And that's why I believe it's captured not just America but pretty much the entire world right now. So I guess the question is what would you have done? Is the Karen wrong? Was the father's decision good or bad? I'll be very interested to read the comments on this video and make sure that you guys like the one that you agree with the most so I can see where the majority lies. Do it. Moving on. Also, over the weekend, we may have just witnessed the single biggest glaze in human history. That's because a Brazilian businessman who recently died left his entire $1 billion fortune to Neymar. And no, not because they were buddies. They never even met. It was just because this guy was a massive fan and he didn't have a wife. He didn't really have any family or any kids to pass his wealth down to. In fact, in his will, which was obtained by Brazilian media, he said, "I like Neymar. I identify with him a lot. He's not self-s serving, which is something rare these days. And his connection with his father reminds me a lot of the one I had with mine who has passed away. And I mean, just to put this amount of money in perspective for you, which consists of properties, investments, and shares in companies. It is more than three times what is rumored to be Neymar's net worth. So if Neymar accepts, he would have made more money from one singular fan than he would have done in his entire career of playing football. and bro played in Saudi. That is insane. Now, this still does have to be approved by the courts, but many people are saying that you Neymar shouldn't accept this money. He should accept it, but then give it away. He doesn't need it. He's worth 300 million odd already. But then other people argue that this was a man's dying wish for Neymar to have his money. Okay. If this businessman wanted a charity or someone else to have it, he would have given it to them. So, tough one. What do you guys think? Should he keep the money? Should he do something better with it? Let me know. Moving on. Okay, we've got to talk about the massive event for Apple tomorrow because yes, it's the annual release of the new iPhone, but this time it's different. Apple is going into this event off the back of a ridiculous amount of L's. To the point where I don't think I've ever seen more people talk about they're switching to Android than I am now. I don't know for a fact you've seen those videos, too. Even the biggest Apple fanboys and creators are cracking. And it does really feel like for the first time, the Apple dominance is slipping. I mean, the iPhone 15 that dropped didn't really wow people. The Vision Pros, don't even get me started. That was a massive flop. Apple Intelligence, that was such a big catastrophe that they got sued for false advertising. And they were literally forced to change how they marketed it. They dropped the iPhone 16. And not only did it feel so similar to the previous iPhone that it made me buy a freaking Samsung, but they also had to reduce their production goal after the demand for it was lower than anticipated. They then announced their biggest iOS update since iPhone 4 liquid glass. And even that was rough because as soon as people started getting their hands on it, there were so many complaints that they even had to change the look of that, too. Point is, in the years that we've known Apple, they're not supposed to be the company that makes mistakes and takes L's. But that perception, I feel like, is long gone. And it's to the point where if they release yet another year of phones that do not excite customers, I'm going to call it. It's going to be open season on Apple. It's not going to be good. Now, despite saying all of that, I'm not going to lie. We have got a lot of leaks this year. And from those leaks, if they are true, it is looking hopeful. There are some super exciting things like the iPhone Air, for example. If that is true and they do drop it, then that will become one of the thinnest phones on the market. This really is Apple's make it or break it event. So, what do you think? Will Apple pull something wild out of the bag and and get people saying Apple is back, or will it be another year of a whole lot of mid? Either way, as usual, I'm going to be doing a full breakdown tomorrow. So, keep your eyes out for that. But until then, moving on. Also, over the weekend, this one is just so wild. They found a man living in the crawl space underneath someone's freaking home in Portland, Oregon. What are you guys doing over there? And let me tell you, what this brother was doing was way beyond squatting. bro was outstanding 10 toes down because he wasn't just like, you know, a little bit of cardboard on the floor. No, he had a bed. He had a mattress. He had string up freaking lights. He had chargers, televisions, he had a PS5. What are you doing? And he connected all of that to an extension that he ran through the home's vent. What the hell? And you know what's even crazier? This is so wild. So, let me read you this. Police were called to the property after a witness reported seeing a man who wasn't known as a resident parking his car and walking to the back of one of the buildings. Yeah, bro had a freaking car. He is living better than Bro is living in the top 10%. Oh, and don't worry. This somehow gets even crazier because when police tried to enter, they discovered that the owner's keys, which unlock the small door opening to this crawl space, they didn't work. And you know why? because this man changed the freaking locks on their doors, which would have cost money, which would have cost research, investment. Now, once the police broke through the locks, they discovered this 40-year-old man named Beniman Beor just chilling inside, and also they found a meth pipe in there as well. So, bro was getting litty, playing a bit of Fortnite, driving around. Who knows? He probably had a job. Now, he was booked into jail and his bail was set at 75,000. I think he's he's charged with something like firstderee burglary. I can't remember. But yeah, I guess ultimately the the moral of the story is next time you hear noises in your attic or your crawl space, it could be nothing. Or it could be a 40-year-old man playing freaking Fortnite. Yeah, >> I hope you sleep well at night. Now, moving on. Also over the weekend, we got an update on Ethan Guo, the teenage pilot who was stranded, arrested in Argentina because finally two months later, he's been allowed to leave. He was seen smiling as he got off this Navy ship which he said had like was carrying humanitarian aid as he arrived in Chile. And that's it was a ship that arrived in Antarctica, brought him and a bunch of other things and people back. And the thing is, despite him and his lawyers doing everything they can to get him permission to fly his own plane out so he can continue his mission, ultimately DJC officials made the decision that another pilot will fly his plane either to Chile or Argentina and he collected from there because they said his health wasn't great. As we covered before, he's lost like 15 20% of his body weight. He's also had issues with his heart. So yeah, now technically remember his whole mission was to become the first person to fly to all seven continents. solo. Well, now he's landed in Argentina. He has, but he says that the whole mission is not complete until he finishes what he set out to do, which was raise 1 million for cancer research. He also said that his lawyers are currently studying a lawsuit against Chile that they filmed the entire process and that he's even considering releasing a video with all of the footage that he got while he was detained in Antarctica. And I can tell you guys based on what he's told me and his experience that I can't really share with you right now, that video would be insane. So hopefully he does. Moving on. Okay, guys. This next story is a serious one. This 23-year-old Ukrainian woman fled a country at war to live a safer and better life in the United States. But recently, one evening heading home from work, her life was ended in the worst possible way. Now, this horrifying incident occurred on the 22nd of August in Charlotte. Uh, but security footage of what actually happened and seeing the whole situation unfold has only just been released. It was 9:46 p.m. and the video shows a very normal looking light rail with everyone uh, you know, minding their own business. They're chatting with each other or on their phones. But the footage shows this one man in a red hoodie who was later identified as D. Carlos Brown looking restless, agitated, emotional. Now, about 30 seconds after this shot, this is when Ireina Zeresa gets on the train and she's wearing a cap and a t-shirt from a pizzeria, which is assuming that's where she works. And she sits in the row in front of Deos. She has AirPods in and just like everyone else, she's minding her own business and she's just chilling on her phone. And it remains this way for the next 4 minutes until Deos can be seen randomly. There it doesn't seem like there's any triggering for this. He takes out a pocketk knife. He stands up and completely unprovoked, he stabsa several times until she passes away. And this was all done from behind. She didn't even have a chance to see the attack coming. Now, here's the thing. D. Carlos Brown, as it turns out, has a history of violent crime and mental illness. He has been arrested multiple times and even served a 5-year prison sentence for robbery with a dangerous weapon. And to make matters even worse, he wasn't even supposed to be allowed on that train that night. He didn't even have a ticket. Now, police detained him just a couple of hours after the attack, and he has since been charged with firstdegree murder. Now, as for the other passengers on board, they told local news that they were traumatized by what they saw and that they don't know how long it'll be before they can take public transport again with ease of mind. Just yet, and you would if you witness something like that completely unprovoked, it makes you think that can literally happen to anyone at any time. But yeah, this is a truly tragic story and there's a lot more to it if we really dig down. But this is a rapidfire news video section. So maybe we'll talk more about it on Friday when we have more time. But for now, moving on. And then lastly, everyone needs to know what's happening in Nepal right now. At least 13 people have died today after a huge Gen Zled protest broke out against government corruption and the government's decision to ban social media. At one point after the protest turned violent, police used tear gas, water cannons, and rubber bullets against a large group, mostly in their teens and 20s, who broke through police barriers and stormed the parliament building. I mean, the situation escalated to the point where a curfew was imposed and the army was deployed. But you see, the reason they're so angry is that the government on Thursday decided to ban 26 social media apps, claiming that users have been spreading hate speech, fake news, and committing crimes online. So in response to this they announced that all social media companies must register with the government and if they don't their access will be blocked to Nepal's 30 million citizens 90% of which use social media. However only five social media companies actually registered including Tik Tok but the majority freaking 26 others like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Reddit etc all refused. poly because if they did, registering with the government would require them to remove prohibited content within 24 hours of the complaint. They would have to develop algorithms to prevent illegal content publication. They would need to monitor for hate speech, misinformation, and harmful content and comply with the content removal orders from the government. But since the majority of these companies didn't register, the social media blackout over the weekend alone has caused chaos. I mean, many companies rely on social media to make money. Many use it to communicate with family and friends who live and work abroad. Many people use it for information and news. And then of course, it goes without mentioning the biggest issue, freedom of speech. Many allege that this is an attempt to silence people's voices and their criticisms of government corruption. In fact, there is a series of draft bills currently being debated in parliament. That could mean that people in Nepal are either fined or even jailed for content that is deemed against the national interest. And it would even allow the government to shut down newspapers and revoke licenses of journalists. And that is huge because yes, the protests that we saw today were inflamed by the social media ban. But ultimately, the root of the frustration is government corruption. Now, the country's prime minister has hit back against these allegations, denying them, saying that he will not tolerate the nation being undermined and that the independence of the nation is greater than the loss of jobs of a handful of individuals. Now, as of right now, Tik Tok is technically the only place where people in Nepal will be able to see this video. But for those of you in the country using VPNs that can still watch this, make sure you let us know what your thoughts are in this whole situation in the comments. It' be very useful to know what you guys think because you're actually there going through this. But with all that being said, I hope you guys have had a great weekend and I hope you have a great week. I will see you again on Wednesday. But until then, catch you then. [Music] Let's get the reps in. [Music] Wow. [Music] Woohoo. [Music] Ridiculous.
