AI Summary

Summary: "Trump Proved Everyone Wrong?! & Roblox Losing BILLIONS!"

1. Roblox Losing Billions Amid Backlash Over Child Safety Concerns

  • Roblox, a multi-billion dollar gaming platform, is facing massive public backlash and legal challenges after banning YouTuber Schlle for exposing predators on the platform.
  • Schlle claimed his content led to six real-life arrests of predators, highlighting the platform’s role in child safety.
  • Roblox responded by stating they have professional teams to handle such issues and that users should not attempt to investigate predators themselves — a claim critics argue undermines safety.
  • The backlash has escalated, with Louisiana’s Attorney General filing a lawsuit, accusing Roblox of prioritizing profits over child safety.
  • She presented evidence including games like "Public Bathroom Simulator" (where users shower and scrub each other) and "Diddy Simulator" (a game involving non-player characters and suggestive content).
  • A new account test revealed inappropriate content (e.g., a penis) within minutes of joining Meep City — raising concerns about content moderation.
  • Roblox has issued four public responses, denying claims of intentional risk to users and calling allegations "erroneous."
  • Louisiana AG responded with: "Fix it or shut it down."
  • Chris Hansen, host of To Catch a Predator, is making a documentary on child exploitation on Roblox and is reportedly working with Schlle.
  • The situation has spiraled into a public crisis, with thousands of tweets and community posts criticizing Roblox’s policies — dubbed "open season" on the platform.
  • The creator urges viewers to share their experiences: Is Roblox truly safe? Does it have serious content issues?

2. Africa’s Push for a New World Map: The "Correct the Map" Campaign

  • The African Union has launched the "Correct the Map" campaign, demanding the replacement of the outdated Mercator map with the Equal Earth projection.
  • The Mercator map, used for centuries, distorts the size of continents, making Africa appear similar in size to the U.S. or China — when in reality, Africa is larger than the U.S., India, China, and much of Western Europe combined.
  • The African Union claims this is a "world’s longest misinformation and disinformation campaign" and asserts it undermines African pride and integrity.
  • The Equal Earth map provides a more accurate representation of land sizes and is being advocated for use in schools and international institutions.
  • The creator questions whether map accuracy truly matters — sparking debate on education, global awareness, and cultural representation.

3. World’s First Olympic Games for Humanoid Robots (Beijing, China)

  • Held from Friday to Sunday in Beijing, the event featured over 500 humanoid robots from 16 countries, including the U.S., Germany, and Japan.
  • Robots competed in 26 events, ranging from football, track, boxing to medicine and cleaning.
  • Unree Robotics’ "Terminator-style" sprinting robot dominated the 1,500-meter race, setting a world record of 6 minutes and 29 seconds — though far behind human records (3:26).
  • The robot famously ran into humans and other robots, symbolizing a playful, aggressive challenge to human dominance.
  • In the 100-meter sprint, a robot initially dominated but then switched lanes mid-race, still winning — showcasing robotic unpredictability.
  • In the final, the same robot set a new record of 21 seconds, which the creator notes is impressive despite being far from human performance.
  • The event is celebrated as a milestone in robotics, with the creator suggesting that within five years, robot world records will be shattered — and humanity may be forced to reevaluate its place in the age of AI.

4. Instagram’s Map Feature Fails to Gain Adoption

  • Instagram launched a location-sharing feature after Snapchat, aiming to capitalize on Gen Z’s interest in real-time friend tracking.
  • However, the feature has been met with strong resistance — users report their maps are "digital ghost towns" with almost no activity.
  • A Washington Post article states: "Location sharing was cool for Gen Z until Instagram made it weird."
  • The BBC titled its piece: "Instagram's new map is a digital ghost town."
  • A test by journalist Thomas Germaine revealed he was almost completely alone on the map — highlighting the lack of user engagement.
  • With 170 million users gaining access, the feature has failed to gain traction, raising questions about user trust, privacy, and platform design.
  • The creator notes the irony: Meta’s metaverse — once a major focus — now appears to be dying as features are dropped and user interest wanes.

Final Thoughts & Takeaways

  • Roblox is in crisis — facing legal action, public outrage, and serious content concerns — despite claims of having safety protocols.
  • Africa’s map campaign is a powerful call for truth, accuracy, and cultural pride in global education.
  • The robot Olympics showcase the rapid advancement of AI and robotics, with humor and spectacle masking real technological progress.
  • Instagram’s map feature is a failed experiment — proving that even popular features can collapse without user trust and engagement.

Bottom Line: The video blends satire and serious commentary, highlighting how technology, culture, and public trust are deeply intertwined. From child safety on gaming platforms to the future of robotics and map accuracy, the narrative underscores that what seems like progress can also be deeply flawed — and that public scrutiny is essential.

Oh, since we lost >> spoke. Roblox is now losing billions of dollars as the backlash against them continues to grow. We got Africa saying they want nay demand a new world map. We've got OMIC for dogs. The world's first Olympic Games for humanoid robots. Instagram's map feature turning into a digital ghost town. And tragically, there will be no Wednesday episode at the News Daddy Empire. I'll tell you why at the end. So, let's stop the yapping and let's get rocking. Okay, let's kick today off with the Roblox situation because oh my lord, this thing is spiraling out of control. Like honestly, for a multi-billion dollar company, the people in the suits at the headquarters must be panicking right now. I don't think for a second they would have thought in their wildest dreams that sending one legal letter and banning one person would have led them into this situation they're at now where they are getting sued by attorney generals and losing literally billions of dollars off their market cap. Look, this is their six-month view for their uh stock price. And for the last 6 months, it ain't been nothing but sunshine and rainbows on the up and up. But then right around the whole schle drama started kicking off. Well, bam. Look at the fall. Now, for the three of you who don't know what's going on, Roblox not only banned a YouTuber off of the platform, uh, but they also sent him a cease and desist letter because he was exposing predators on the platform. In fact, he says that his work has led to six arrests in real life. Not really something you'd think they'd want to stop, but nay, they do. They say they have professionals for that kind of work and they don't want players to try and get involved in in that and they're going to mess things up, okay? And put their users at increased risk. That's what they say. And because of that, that has brought up the question and everyone started asking, well, is Roblox doing enough with these with these professionals that they do have. And so far, based on the public's reaction, the answer to that question is a massive no. I mean, this whole backlash started just in the gaming community alone. and they were rallying against the decision to ban Schlle. And you know, it started with a hashtag free shleep, but now he's turned into a whole different beast. Now, we spoke a bit more about this in the previous episode, but the latest is that Louisiana's attorney general, uh, who filed that lawsuit, well, she just did a press conference and in that released two videos. She accuses them of putting profits over child safety and said it was open season for predators on Roblox right now. Now, some of the posters she brought to this event include printouts of some of their games. is uh one of them the public bathroom simulator. And apparently this is where you can shower with other users and even scrub each other clean. That sounds sus. Jos had a few printouts of some of the experiences uh on Roblox which include a lot of a lot of diddy free coughs escape to uh Epstein Island. And even if the bathroom simulator wasn't enough, the diddy simulator. What is going on as a non-player? What? and almost like half of the people you playing Roblox are around 13 years old. >> Okay, so I've just made a fresh account, brand new Roblox account. I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to join Meep City and I just want to see how long it takes until I see something inappropriate in the game. All right, so I'm going to go and join on in. This is a a fresh account. All right, never never played on it before. And um yep, there's a penis. So, um, that's, uh, that's about, um, let's see here, uh, about 10 seconds. >> Now, Roblox has publicly responded not once, not twice, not three times, but four times. Now, one of their latest is actually specifically to the Louisiana AG lawsuit. Now, this is a very long response, so I'm not going to read the whole thing, but they say things like, "Any assertion that Roblox would intentionally put our users at risk uh, is simply untrue." They say that no system is perfect and bad actors adapt and evade detection. And they also called many of these claims that people are making erroneous and misconceptions. Now, Louisiana's attorney general responded to their response and she said, "Fix it or shut it down." Oh, and we also now have confirmation that Chris Hansen, the man from the To Catch a Predator series, >> how you doing? >> Should you have a seat over in that chair, please? >> Well, he is in fact making a documentary. says that they're deep in the process um about the exploitation of children on Roblox. He said that they're even working with Schlepp, the very man who ignited this whole recent blow up. Oh, and another thing that's wild is if you go on Roblox's ex account, if you just look at the community notes that they've got on any of their statements regarding this whole situation, that is what I call open season. I don't think I've ever seen so many freaking links and notes on Twitter ever. Point is, um, I didn't think that this was going to get bigger, but it somehow has. Roblox's problems are not going away, and no matter how many public statements they want to issue. Now, I'll keep you guys updated as major developments come through, but I'm very interested for the people that do play Roblox in here. In your experience playing the game, is it sus? Do they have a problem? Let me know your thoughts in the comments. But moving on. Also, since we last spoke, Africa, they want a new map and they're calling the current one the world's longest misinformation campaign. Now, the African Union has officially backed what's called the correct the map campaign, which essentially aims to replace our current standardized world map with a version that actually shows a country's true size. And let me tell you something, if this does happen, the UK about to see some real shrinkage. Swimming in the cold ocean. Uh, shrinkage. You see, the map that we're all probably familiar with is called the Marcato map and it intentionally distorts the size of continents. So, if you look at it, it appears that, you know, Africa looks like a similar size to the US or China. When in reality, if you actually took its size into perspective, it is so much bigger that it can fit inside of it the US, India, China, Japan, much of Western Europe, all onto the continent and still have space left. Now, of course, there are theories that this was done deliberately because this was drawn up like 500 years ago, and it is still used in classrooms and on globes around the world, but in reality, the map was distorted and stretched to make navigation easier. This was apparently so sailors could draw a straight line across the ocean while plotting their routes. Regardless though, the African Union say that this design is outdated and they are now calling for schools, governments, and international institutions to adopt maps and images that reflect the actual size of the countries and continents. They propose the equal Earth projection, which is like a version of the map. And they say that this is much more than just a map. This is about African integrity and pride. And according to the head of a campaign group behind this, this is the world's longest misinformation and disinformation campaign. and it just simply has to stop. But what do you guys think? Does size truly matter or is the map perfect the way it is? Let me know. Moving on. Okay, guys. I don't know if you know, but we just had the world's first Olympic Games for humanoid robots. What? This sucks that it had to be around the same time as the Putin and Trump meeting cuz it just got buried in the news cycle. But I am so glad I could bring it to you because this thing was hilarious. It was held in Beijing, China from Friday to Sunday and it had participants from 16 different countries including the US, Germany, and Japan. There was more than 500 different variations of humanoid robots from big to small to medium to cutesy. And they competed in 26 different events ranging from football, track, boxing, and even non-related like medicine, cleaning up, and freaking obstacle courses. Now, one robotics company that absolutely dominated, and we've actually spoken about them on the channel before, but Unree, their freaking beast, freaking Terminator sprinting robot. Uh, that one won the 1,500 meter race, and they said it set a world record of 6 minutes and 29 seconds. I mean, it is the first game, so I guess anything would be a world record for them. And I mean, currently, it's pretty far off the human record of 3 minutes 26 seconds, but give it a minute. I think the robot smashing into the human on the way around was their way of saying, "We're coming for you and all your records." And actually, this robot in particular was freaking crazy. Not only did it run into humans, but even ran into the little robots that were just trying to make their way around the track, too. And I don't know why it made me feel so sorry for that little one. Also, the 100 meter sprint was hilarious. Now, this video is not the finals. It's probably like the semis or something. But this front robot was absolutely dominated. But then halfway through it just started to like switch five lanes. It still ends up winning though, even like it paused. It still had enough time. And then there was the 100 meter final where that fast old bastard again. Yeah. The one that ran over everyone, he comes back and uh he smashes another world record. 21 seconds. It's actually pretty good. And yes, I know that like a lot of the entertainment factor with this thing is you when they mess up and you know when they start boxing the humans and things like that, but I think we should all take a moment to just give it like come on, we made history with this and it was pretty spectacular to see what we're capable of creating nowadays with robots. Give this 5 years and we're not going to be laughing. We're going to be crying at all of our world records being shattered. Moving on. Now, next story I wanted to speak about. Ah, we're talking about Zuck again. Boy, oh boy. So, the Instagram maps feature, right? Yeah, I'm going there. That's been out for about a week now, and that's enough time to see what people think about it. Is it good? Is it bad? Are people starting to use it now? No. Well, apparently not. At least that's what we're seeing. People are reporting that their maps are absolutely deserted because all of their friends are turning it off immediately. This Washington Post article wrote, "Location sharing was cool for Gen Z until Instagram made it weird." Now, they talk about how Gen Z, you know, they started using Find My as a way to see where their friends are, you know, partly security, partly, you know, just interesting. And then Instagram comes along, they say like, "Oh, they must have seen this trend and been like, hm, let me get in on some of that." And so, you know, after Snapchat, of course, because there has to be an existing feature before Instagram actually takes this. Sorry. Sean's fine. And here's a quote from the article. They say, "And yet nearly everyone the Washington Post spoke to was uncertain about the point of the Instagram map." The BBC also wrote an article. They titled it, "Instagram's new map is a digital ghost town." Some 170 million people got access to Instagram's new location sharing feature. So why is the map so empty? Now, the writer of this article, Thomas Germaine, he decided to allow access to app tracking. Oh my god, I can't believe you did that. But, you know, just so that he could test out this new feature. And this is what he said. It was even stranger to realize that I was almost completely alone. This is kind of like the metaverse. Oh yeah. What happened to the meta Zuck's metaverse? Is anyone still in there? There are so many features that he's dropped that I actually forget about because threads. Anyone using threads? The edits app. Anyone using that? Sorry. Uh I expected to find at least a few other brave souls on the map, but for all of my hundreds of Instagram connections, exactly one other person was using the feature. And I mean there are countless examples of this. You search on Tik Tok just the feature and it is just negative after negative. The verge rope Instagram's map is here and this is how you can turn off. And BC wrote senators urge Meta to roll back Instagram map feature that sparked uproar. I mean point is I don't think I've heard a single person say something positive about this map feature so far. I mean which begs the question why? Like I'd love to know what user data were they referencing to put the investment of money to create this new feature. Even if people you know Gen Z are using this feature, sharing your location, giving your location data to Apple is very different to giving it to Zuck. You know, not a huge difference, but there is. And also, I got to just point out, I actually genuinely want to know when is the last time that Zuck has released a feature or an app or anything that is 100% original, like brand new, you know, because we're starting to build up a bit of a catalog here. Before I go off on a freaking Zuck rant, um, what do you guys think? Are you guys using the map feature? Are you not? Has Zuck taken another L? Sorry, stop talking about Zuck. Moving on. You know guys, often I think when will there be a sign that humanity is officially cooked? You know, a point of no return. Let me tell you, oh, Zmpic for dogs. Poor Zmpic. Yeah. Yeah, we're here. We're cooked. A UK smart dog food brand called Omnipet. Well, they have just designed a supplement that mimics the effects of the GLP1 hormone which is also used in ompic and how it works pretty insane. So, like the human version, it regulates blood sugar and it reduces appetite which basically means your dog will lose weight because it's less hungry. You must I point out the obvious? The the the big difference, okay, between us and dogs is that when dogs are hungry, they don't walk up to the cupboard, open it, peruse for a little bit, and then binge on something that they probably shouldn't be. The main reason that ompic works so well for us humans is that it puts a barrier in between us and the close to unlimited access we have to food. And for a dog, you know what their barrier in between that is? Us. We are the barrier. We are the ozenic for dogs. So I'd like to put my hand up and say we are the problems yet again humanity. So instead of supplements pooric to make our dogs less hungry, maybe the solution is that we need another injection ourselves, one that can stop us giving in to their sweet, adorable, infuriating godamn you eyes. And let's be honest, it is entirely our fault that I mean, for example, here in the UK, almost 50% of the dogs are overweight to the point where this is actually causing health problems like lower mobility, poor quality of life, proness to arthritis, and even premature death. So, it's not just, oh, pudgy, pudgy, cute. No, death. And just like ompic has its side effects, I'm sure pooric has its side effects, too. A recent test shows that 77% of dogs who used Poor Zmpic lost weight with almost no side effects. Almost no side effects. And quote, "The owners were not required to make any major changes to their feeding or exercise regimes to achieve these results." What are we Are we doing the exercise? No. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but what do you guys think? I'm open to it. Is this a good supplement? Is there something I'm not considering here? Or are yet again we the problem? Moving on. Talking about problems though, rapper Sean Kingston over the weekend, well, he's been sentenced to three and a half years in prison. Damn, that's a long time. Someone really did call 911. It's not actually an appropriate joke. In fact, it's not only appropriate, it's also too soon. So, holy sh What is that? What the What? What the hell? What the It's still silver. Subscribe to make it gold. Now, not only him, but also his mother was found guilty of ripping off car dealerships, jewelers, a mattress company in this massive wire fraud scheme that amounted to over a million dollar. His mother was sentenced to 5 years in prison last month, and now it looks like Sha will be joining her. He was described in court as someone addicted to his celebrity lifestyle, even though he couldn't afford it any longer. He has promised to pay back every cent to all of his victims, all the people that he, you know, ripped off. And uh he's going to start working again, but he will only be able to start working again when he's out, which will be close to when he's 40 years old. That's rough. Then lastly, an update on the whole Trump Putin situation. Well, the development on that is it may not have been such a massive nothing burger after all because not only will today Zalinsky be meeting with Trump in Washington and he's reportedly being told to wear a suit this time by the White House. Wild, but also just before recording, we've got a word that various European leaders will also be joining Zilinski in all of these talks, including the leaders of Germany, France, and the UK. So, not only will that make this meeting much more interesting, uh, but also it raises the stakes, literally, cuz they're they're going to be eating steaks until not just one steak for Zilinski, but you get it. Oh, and not only that, but also according to CNN, Trump has told these European leaders that if the talks with Zilinski go well, he will arrange a trilateral meeting between himself, Putin, and Zalinski as soon as Friday. That's pretty huge. a second meeting already with multiple leaders. That's fast work if it happens. We've heard a lot of talking about this. So, grain of salt. We'll see. So, yeah, even though we didn't have a lot to report from the previous meeting, um maybe there's some now. Subscribe to the channel if you want world peace. Oh, sorry. One more thing. There will be no Wednesday episode. Uh the reason being is that I am leaving for 3 days somewhere. Now, usually when I leave and I travel and stuff, it's not really a problem. I can still work, but this time I'm actually purposely not working. And it's for the betterment of the empire, okay? Cuz every single day I'm in the weeds. I'm looking and I'm very zoomed in. I'm covering news. I'm on the dayto-day. But sometimes you need to zoom out. You need to see where do we want to take this all? You know, what is the big picture? What new innovations can we can we make to make the content better, to make the team better, to make the empire more glorious? So, it's going to be 3 days of big picture thinking, pondering, sauna time in the steam room. Hm. So, what do we think about this? So, hopefully I come back rejuvenated, inspired, excited, big picture ideas, much better videos, and much more. So, I leave for you. You don't get a Wednesday episode because I love you. That's basically it. I beat out of love. Okay. I think we should we should stop the yapping at this point and let's get rapping. Okay, let's stop the yapping and let's get rapping up this video. I love you guys. I will see you on Friday. Don't miss me too much. will. [Music] >> That was a ridiculous episode. Silly actually silly episode. But in reality, the map was actually stretched and distorted to make navigation easilier. What the what even language am I speaking? [ __ ] man.
