Oh, since we last spoke, the roadblock situation has just taken a wildly unexpected turn. Donald Trump could be in line for the Nobel Peace Prize thanks to thousands of Buddhist monks. The son of UFC fighter Rampage Jackson just put a wrestler in hospital in one of the most horrific acts of violence we may have ever seen streamed on kick. The transcript from the interview with Jeffrey Epstein's ex-girlfriend were just released and she defended Trump. All of that and so much more. Subscribe to join Dilly Before a Millie Club and let's stop the yapping and let's get Okay, here's something we did not expect to happen right now. During one of their biggest controversies, arguably in their entire history, Roblox is thriving. So, I guess let me explain. Last week we spoke about how, you know, their their stock was down billions, for example, uh, due to their recent controversy around their issues with child safety. But if you look at it today, look at that U. They're almost back to exactly where they were before all of the controversy kicked off. And then it's not just that, because on top of it, they just made history last night. According to Roblox RTC on Twitter, Roblox has just broken the record for the most concurrent users on a platform ever with a peak of 47,292,412 players. Bro, what is going on? I thought they were supposed to be feeling the heat from this and based on our last coverage, they were. So despite lawsuits from attorney generals, documentaries from people like Chris Hansen and extreme public outrage, they are still profiting from this. Like do not tell me this is one of those no press is bad press moments. It can't be. I mean to be fair, the interest for Roblox as a general viewer, I don't think has been higher in a very long time. I mean, for example, Schlepp, the guy that is arguably started all of this latest wave of controversy, he just dropped a nearly half an hour video, which for his audience age demographic is like that's like a 3-hour long movie. And he just did a recap of everything alongside Chris Hansen. And this video has got over 6 million views in one day. That is crazy. And so now I'm starting to wonder, has all of this controversy actually got players to go on the platform and be like, "Yeah, let's let's see this for ourselves. Is it really cooked like people are saying it is?" Ultimately pushing up Roblox's numbers. And I mean, even in the comment section of viewers talking about how they've just broken the player records, most people feel pretty uneasy, saying, "What a terrible time to be raking records like that. Roblox is basically deemed unsafe." Normally, this would be a good thing, but in this case, it's actually super worrying. This platform is thriving when it's facing so much controversy regarding child safety. In fact, here's what the freaking Economic Times had to say about it. Quote, "Despite legal risks, analysts remain bullish on Roblox stock." Now, the analyst in particular they were referencing who actually upgraded Roblox's stock recently from hold to buy, she said despite their lawsuits for the child safety issues, quote, "Roblox has made progress in improving its platform safety and that its fundamentals warranted an upgrade." Well, there you go. Clearly, business is business. And so, ultimately, we're at this point where unless the child safety issues can actually get people to stop using the platform, then it's not hitting the company's pockets. And so the big question is, can meaningful progress come out of this then? But what do you guys think? Can people still put pressure on Roblox to change? Will Schle ever be unbanned? Or will people just move on from this controversy quickly onto something else to be mad about and it's forgotten like so many other things we've seen before? Let me know in the comments. Moving on. Okay, talking about dramas that we hope people don't move on from. Remember a couple of weeks ago we spoke about how Gileain Maxwell was just suddenly out of nowhere interviewed by the DOJ and then moved prison. Why now? Well, for a while we didn't think we would actually know like what they ever spoke about or why. But last night the transcripts of this long two-day long interview, they've been released. And let me tell you, let me let me tell you something. >> Let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. >> Okay, sorry. Let me tell you something. This is meaty. This was like over 330 pages of transcripts. And to be fair, there's a lot of interesting stuff in here, but with a catch. So, most notably, the one that everyone is talking about today is what she said about President Trump. So, when she was asked about Trump and massages, which it's an Epstein cover for susping. I never witnessed the president in any inappropriate settings in any way. The president was never inappropriate with anybody. In the times that I was with him, he was a gentleman in all respects. Now, obviously today, some people are running with this, saying like this is proof that Trump is not in the Epstein files, that he's completely innocent. In fact, the New York Post just wrote a whole ass article saying, "Republicans, it's time to give up the Epstein saga once and for all." And then they treated the Maxwell interview as like final proof. And now I'm not trying to say that he is in there or he's guilty or innocent or anything, but I'm not too sure a woman in prison for trafficking is the most credible source to be using. And also, there's a lot about this whole interview and how it came up in the first place that makes everything that's in there, despite it being 333 pages, a bit wishy-washy. Like the reason they wanted to conduct this interview in the first place was so that they can provide the public with more transparency and clarity on the whole situation when in reality if that's actually what you wanted release the files because providing us an interview with someone that literally no one can really trust I don't know how that moves the needle in the favor of trust and clarity and transparency and also she wasn't even interviewed under oath. Instead they gave her a proper agreement. Now, this does mean that anything she says cannot be used against her directly in court. Now, she can still be penalized for lying because lying to the government in any circumstance, I guess, is technically a crime. But in practice, prosecutors usually only pursue a lie against the government if it is material and it obstructs an investigation, which I don't even think there's technically any investigation. It's just an interview. Now, Maxwell was also asked about other people like Elon Musk, the Clintons, the British Royals, the Kennedys, etc. She pretty much said that, oh, she knew enough to say like, oh yeah, they spoke once or twice, but I never saw anything bad happen between them. And it's it's just the same thing, you know? It's a little bit of information, but not enough. Just enough to fuel more conspiracies, but not nothing to be like, okay, guys, we're this has completely changed everything we know about this case. So this whole thing wrapped in really shiny packaging, but inside it's incredibly mid. And so the Epstein situation continues. Another day, another mids something. Moving on. Now talking about Trump, really 180ing from that narrative to a new narrative. He is really building up quite the nomination list for Nobel Peace Prize. And this week, by far the craziest. So, here we got Cambodia's prime minister posting on Facebook saying that due to Trump's role in the ceasefire negotiations between Cambodia and Thailand, he has now sent an official letter to the cup commissions to support President Donald Trump's candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize. Then following that, over 2,500 Buddhist monks gathered for a peace walk in which one of their leading figures, Yon Segith, took the mic and said, >> "Today, 70,000 Cambodian Buddhist monks are wholeheartedly supportive of our Cambodian Prime Minister Hunman to nominate you for the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of your historic contribution in advancing world peace. >> And here's the thing, it's not just the Cambodians and the the Buddhist monks, although there's 70,000 of them. Trump has now also received nominations for this prize from Israel, Pakistan, Armenia, and Azarbaijan. Now, I guess the question that you're probably wondering is, can he actually win this? Well, technically, yes. And let me tell you, those odds will significantly rise if he plays an instrumental role in achieving peace between Russia and Ukraine. But he better get hustling fast on that because the announcement for this year's Nobel Peace Prize is in October, the 10th in fact. And also, as it stands right now, according to Poly Market, which if you know Poly Market, you know it, he'll lose out to Julia Nallia. Anyway, but what do you guys think? Does Trump deserve the Nobel Peace Prize this year in 2025 or not? Let me know. Moving on. Okay, let's talk about this one because this is truly one of the wildest videos I've seen in years. Raja Jackson, the 25-year-old son of UFC champion Rampage Jackson, just put a wrestler in hospital after entering the ring, slamming him on the mat, which knocked him unconscious, and then proceeded to punch him in the face over 20 times as he lays there motionless. And here's the thing, the backstory to this, you'd think, oh, maybe there's some justification or context. It actually makes it worse, not better. You see, Raja, if you didn't know, he's a kick streamer, but also a professional UFC fighter. He's had two, I think, professional fights so far and he was scheduled to be part of a wrestling event in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Now, videos before the event showed Roger out back at the venue with a number of workers, which is when he meets the wrestler which he's supposed to or scheduled to be in the ring with. >> Still at where is he at? >> This is Stuart Steve. He is a US veteran who suffers from PTSD and he started wrestling in 2009 so he could focus on something while trying to re-enter civilian life. His wrestling name is Psycho Steve. And you know there's this one point where they're getting in each other's face. They're squaring up to each other. >> You don't need to worry about him. >> Worried about Psycho Stew. >> Psycho Stew. >> What? You don't know me? >> Hell no. >> And Psycho Steve grabs a can of beer and smashes it over Raja's head. Now this of course causes the situation to get super heated. Everyone's like, "Why did he do that?" And Roger says like, "I will f him up." Raja's held back by a few other wrestlers who try to calm him down. and they tell him that Stu always thinks that he's working and that he was trying to create a storyline for the match later. However, despite their clear disagreement, videos show later Stu apologizing to Raja, saying that he saw the camera that he had and that he thought that Raja was a worker. And they end up shaking hands and Raja and the cameraman both seemingly accept the apology. >> I didn't know. >> I get it. And Roger's cameraman says multiple times, "I get it now." Now, clearly they did not because during Stu's match, you can see Raja replying to the chat and it can be heard saying things like this. >> How many subs to knock him out? >> That's a good question. I don't know exactly. People think this Wait, people think this a [ __ ] game. Straight up, bro. W If you want to see me, you want to see if I can pick him up? W. It was not a fake can, bro. It was not a fake can. I'm telling you that right now. It didn't hurt, but it wasn't a fake can. It was a real ass can. >> Now, after that, he jumps in the ring. He slams him. He punches him multiple times. Obviously, I can't show it on here. And like half a dozen people have to enter the ring to try and restrain him. And all of this was filmed on live on kick. It remained up. There were kids in the crowd that witnessed this. People have been saying, "How the hell did he manage to get 20 punches in before he was tackled off of him?" Douglas Muller, one of the wrestlers who tried to stop Roger, said that Stuart had broken bones in his face and he lost multiple teeth. He said that he was choking on his blood and his teeth at one point. Now, there's even more footage because he continues streaming this entire time of of showing Raja. He's walking out of the venue and he's saying he's tired of people playing with him. >> Tired of mother playing with me, bro. real [ __ ] One of them a [ __ ] and bit me. Counter everybody playing with me and think I'm always playing and call me [ __ ] and not no [ __ ] [ __ ] bro. At the end of the day, I'mma stand up for my [ __ ] self because I'm tired of everybody playing with me, bro. Real [ __ ] >> Let's go. >> You ain't going to do [ __ ] to me, bro. You can't do to me. You can't with me, bro. You can't [ __ ] with me. And at one point, he even gets a call from someone named Andre, and he tells Roger that Stuart flatlined in the ring. And this is what he had to say in response. >> He's in the ring. Flatline, bro. >> My bad. >> He didn't have to do all that. I understand y'all had he didn't have to take it. >> All right, I'll call you back later. >> Yeah, that's his apology. My bad. Now, Roger's dad, Rampage Jackson. >> Roger might go to jail. He might get banned off kick, too. >> I hope it was safe. >> He then made a statement online saying, "I want to clear up some misinformation about my son." And then he proceeded to say that Roger was unexpectedly hit on the side of the head moments before Smith's match. And Roger was told that he could get his payback in the ring. But one of the points that the dad failed to mention is that one Stuart apologized and it seemingly Raja accepted the apology and also this wasn't just moments before the match. This was hours before it happened. The wrestling company also made a statement saying in the 17 years of pro wrestling there has never been anything as heinous take place as this. Now, as for Stuart Smith, he is awake and stable, but in bad condition, and people close to him say that this is going to be a long road to recovery. Kick has since banned Roger's account, and some are calling for him to be arrested and charged with attempted murder. But people are also calling for Kick to be held accountable for this, for allowing the stream to be going on as long as it did. And what's just I cannot get my head around is the fact that this was all live streamed. I don't know what he thought would happen. like I don't know how he doesn't get arrested and charged because not only did we all see that happen, but also he explicitly made it clear that this was premeditated. He said to the chat, "How many subs for me to go and punch him in the face?" Really? He said he was going to do it multiple times. And also, extremely luckily for Raja, Steve Smith, he didn't die. But no matter what way you want to cut this, I don't see how Raja doesn't get arrested and most likely a huge fine or probably some jail time. But then again, we haven't heard from Raja just yet. So, we'll see if that makes it make any more sense. But what do you guys think? What should his consequence be for this? Or do you think we're missing something? Do you think that Roger has something potentially to say that would make this more understandable? Let me know in the comments. But for now, moving on. Also this week, Cracker Barrel. They are getting the American Eagle treatment right now, but seemingly from the other side. So recently, I don't know if you've heard about this, but they removed an image in this big rebranding of a man named Uncle Hershel. And because of this removal from their logo and also a couple of other changes, people are saying that this rebrand abandons traditional values. And I'm not going to lie, this wasn't just a little bit of talk online. The backlash ended up becoming so strong that Cracker Barrel has lost nearly $100 million in market value in a single day. That's 24 hours. And share prices dropped by over 12%. And at this point, I'm not even sure anymore if this is a liberal versus conservative thing because the official account of the Democratic Party came out and said that we think Cracker Barrel's rebrand sucks, too. And then the governor of California, Gavin Newsome, he also criticized it, saying woke is dead. But here's the thing you got to think about. Cracker Barrel, they didn't just rebrand for no reason. They made a bunch of changes for this new rebranding both inside and out with their logo as well in an attempt to boost sales because for years they've been declining and struggling. So now that they have done it, they can't really win because people as shown by their declining sales don't want them to stay as the current Cracker Barrel. But then when they go ahead and make the change, apparently people aren't happy with it either. And here's the thing. Usually when we see a company get backlash, they're the first to fold and apologize. But in what's becoming a little bit of a trend now, they didn't. Again, same thing with the backlash with Jaguar. Same thing with American Eagle. Same thing with Roblox. Cracker Barrel basically said, "This is what it is now, and that's how it's going to be." And after they did, I'm really starting to wonder, is this becoming a little bit of a strategy? Because American Eagle, for example, their stock is back up. I think it's even higher than after the Sydney Sweeney. Roblox, well, we just spoke about that. They just broke freaking all-time records. And so I'm starting to really wonder, are companies starting to do what content creators, influencers, and celebrities have been doing for years, rage baiting people for massive exposure and marketing? I mean, the only thing crazy that they could do now is get Sydney Sweeney in for an ad, and then they've really done it. But let me know what you guys think. Is this a good rebranding, a bad one? Is this marketing strategy? Is it not? Moving on. And talking about insane marketing, ICE posted this picture this week. Yeah, a government agency. Come on. They know exactly what they were doing with this picture. And boy, did it work. In fact, Alex, remove the picture. Make sure they can't see it. What color was his shorts? Yeah, my point. Exactly. This post got over 30 million views. When is the last time a government agency on social media has got that kind of traction, especially around immigration? Man, I'm telling you, I we thought that the the boomers and the legacy institutions were cooked on social media, but I mean, if today is proof of anything, I think they're starting to get the point. I'm not going to lie, it feels a little unnerving because you guys were supposed to be the serious ones. You were supposed to rein us in, get us to take some stuff seriously, but now we're just all in the same boat. Anyway, I think that is a round for a rap. I'm trying to keep these ones shorter, so I'm calling it a rapid fire Monday. Hope you guys had a fantastic weekend and I will see you for a midweek catch up. But until then, [Music]
