AI Summary

Why It’s Okay to Hate Mr. Beast – Joey Swoll Is Back & Spider-Man 4 Starts Filming!

Key Points from the Video

🔥 Why It’s Okay to Hate Mr. Beast (and Why You Can Now)

  • The creator gives a "free pass" to hate on Mr. Beast, stating it’s acceptable — even encouraged — to criticize him right now due to the scale and nature of his latest campaign.
  • This is not a blanket endorsement of negativity, but a strategic move to leverage internet culture and algorithmic trends that favor negative or controversial content.

💧 Mr. Beast’s "Team Water" Campaign: A Record-Breaking Fundraiser

  • Mr. Beast launched a campaign to raise $40 million in one month to provide $2 million people with clean drinking water for decades.
  • $1 = one person’s year of clean water — making every dollar meaningful.
  • The campaign has already raised over $7 million in just a few days, with a goal of $40 million by August.
  • The campaign is gamified:
    • A leaderboard shows real-time donations (e.g., a Clash Royale clan donated over $2 million).
    • Creators like Logan Paul and Aiden Ross were pressured into donating $100,000 during a live stream.
    • Mr. Beast used social pressure and public shaming to get big creators to give — e.g., saying, "Hey, I’m Jimmy Mr. Bees. Just give me a number."
  • Despite the controversial tactics, the creator argues that if the end result is saving lives, the methods may be justified — especially since the campaign is driving massive visibility and donations.

📉 The Psychology of Internet Culture & "Blood"

  • The internet thrives on drama, conflict, and controversy.
  • Videos with negative titles (like "Why It’s Okay to Hate Mr. Beast") get higher click-through rates because they trigger curiosity and engagement.
  • The creator notes that hate comments can actually boost donations — because they drive more people to see the campaign and consider giving.

🚀 Joey Swoll Returns After Quitting Social Media

  • Joey Swoll (a fitness influencer) announced he was quitting social media to avoid cancel culture.
  • Just days later, he returned with a video stating:
    • "You guys are not going to cancel me. Love me or hate me, I am not going anywhere."
    • He received thousands of messages urging him to return, saying he needed a "kick in the ass" to get back up.
  • The public reaction was surprisingly positive — most comments celebrated his return.
  • The backlash wasn’t about his return, but about his apology and perceived bowing to cancel culture.
  • This suggests cancel culture has evolved — people now resist being canceled, and brands are less likely to back down.

🚨 American Eagle Refuses to Apologize for Sydney Sweeney Ad

  • American Eagle faced massive backlash over a jeans ad featuring Sydney Sweeney.
  • Instead of apologizing or removing content, the brand released a defensive statement:
    • “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans. Her jeans, her story, will continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence.”
  • This is a rare move — most brands apologize quickly when under fire.
  • The ad has become one of the most viewed campaigns in the brand’s history, and millions now know American Eagle.
  • The creator questions whether this will affect sales, but notes it may be a sign that cancel culture is losing its power.

🎬 Spider-Man 4 is Now Filming in Glasgow

  • A fun, unexpected fact: Spider-Man 4 is filming in Glasgow, Scotland — a surprising location for a major Marvel film.
  • This adds a layer of excitement and unpredictability to the video’s content.

🦖 Australia Discovers New Dinosaur Species

  • A fun, science-based update: Australia has discovered a new species of dinosaur — a minor but exciting detail that adds depth to the video’s mix of news.

🕷️ The Haunted Annabel Doll Gets a New Legal Guardian

  • A spooky, niche detail: the haunted Annabel doll has found a new guardian after the previous one passed away — a nod to classic horror culture.

Conclusion: A Shift in Digital Culture

  • The video argues that cancel culture is fading — seen in Joey Swoll’s return and American Eagle’s defiant stance.
  • Mr. Beast’s campaign, while controversial, is driving real-world impact and massive engagement — even if the methods are questionable.
  • The creator suggests that hate is now a tool — not just for drama, but for algorithmic success and raising awareness.
  • Ultimately, the message is:

It’s okay to hate on Mr. Beast — because the internet wants drama, and the world needs clean water.
And in doing so, we might just help make the world a little better — one dollar at a time.

This week, I am giving you a free pass to hate on Mr. Beast because of what he's doing right now. Joey Swall is already back after quitting social media. American Eagle has finally issued a statement addressing the whole Sydney Sweeney jeans controversy. Spider-Man 4 is now filming in Glasgow of all places. Australia has discovered a new species of dinosaur and the haunted Annabel doll has just got a new legal guardian after the last one died. All of that and so much more. Subscribe to the channel if if >> What did he just say? >> Check the prompter. If I can't think of a reason, let's stop the yaffin and let's go right. >> That energy fear intro deserves a subscribe. Think about the neighbors. >> Getting a really good stretch. Let's stop the yapping and let's crack. >> Okay, kicking off today, I am going to give you a free pass from the empire to all of you to uh sanction the hating of Mr. Beast to allow it. You don't have to, but you can if you want to in August. Here's your pass, Alex. Give it to them. There you go. Um, and let me explain why. So, a couple of weeks ago, we spoke about how Ryan Tran was on the verge of YouTube history because he was on track to beat the world record of the most amount of money raised by a content creator in a single campaign for charity. Now, the number currently on the Guinness World Record website to beat was 11,972,930.19. Ryan Trey has now finished his 50 states in 50 days series and the final number raised for St. Jude's Children's Hospital is 11,573,000. So this close. And before we talk about the whole Mr. Beast situation, just for a second, that is an insane number. So W. But now Mr. Beast and Mark Robber, well, they have started a their fundraising campaign of their own. And oh my lord, by everything we're seeing so far, and it's only in its fourth day, it looks like Mr. Beast might be breaking another YouTube record. The aim is simple. He is attempting to raise $40 million in one month, which will provide $2 million people with clean drinking water for decades. Now, if achieved, this will span across five continents and more than 25 countries. And they've worked out a model where if they achieve the $40 million raise, $1 would become effective enough to supply one person with a year's worth of drinking water. And when you look at it like that, literally every dollar counts. But here's the really interesting part that I've started to notice more of a trend of lately. Mr. Beast, Ryan Trey, and creators like them, they are now gamifying essentially the act of giving. And yeah, we could talk about the ethics of that or the the comments of White Savior and the true meaning of Christmas, whatever. But before we do, let me just show you. Now, when he launched the campaign, Mr. said that he wanted to create the largest creator collab in history. There's the uh breaking record element of it. He then created a leaderboard on the Team Water website where everyone can see who has donated the most, much like Ryan Tan. So, there's the competition element of it and just because you're probably interested in who it is. The number one donation is a Clash Royale clan called uh Crate Royal or Royale and they have donated over $2 million. That's more than the whole of YouTube and Google. That's more than the CEO of Spotify and Mr. Beast himself. And then just to round out the triple whammy of gamifying it. He's even got Ego involved in this because on the day of the launch of Team Water, he did a live stream with some of the biggest creators in the whole industry and he pretty much used social pressure to get them to donate. For example, like with Asmin Gold, uh he added him to a call with all, you know, Logan Paul, Aiden Ross, etc. Right as he was just trying to order some McDonald's. And then he said this, "Hey, nice to meet you. Uh, I'm Jimmy Mr. Bees." Yeah. There's this uh charity thing called Team Water. >> Just give me a number, Jimmy. >> All right. So, Jinxy Logan, they both just committed 100 grand and >> 100K. >> And so, by him positioning Logan Paul and saying that, you know, he's already they've already donated 100K. It's your turn. Ro is now in front of some of the biggest creators, not trying to look poor or selfish. And even though he tried to kick and scream and he was like, "No, you know, it's too much money. That's crazy." I'll I'll donate. I'll donate. Jimmy, I'm not going to donate $100,000. I'mma be honest. That's a lot of money. >> Y'all trying to make me look like an That's what's going on. I know what's going on here. >> Eventually, he said yes. He he folded under the social pressure and he said he was going to donate 100K. >> I will say this, I would do it. >> Point is is that yeah, even though that does seem pretty rough ambushing someone and pressuring them to give $100,000 to charity, but the thing is is that if it's for a good cause, is it still wrong? Is it wrong to gify charity and giving if the end result of that is making people's lives better and saving people's lives literally? You know, you could argue that creators are now using all of the psychological tricks that they used on all of us to uh get us to click on the videos and watch it or buy their merch and make money for themselves. Well, then I'll using those same psychological tricks but to make other people's lives better. I don't know. I I think that could be fair game. And here's why. Because in the first 24 hours of this campaign alone, Team Water has already raised over $5 million in 24 hours. Now, currently, a couple days later, they're now at 7 million. And their goal by the end of the month of August is 40 million. And so, while they're still doing well, they still need a lot of people. They they need this hype train to continue chugging. And so they need people to keep on speaking about it to reach that big 40. Which brings me to my next point. We all know that the internet wants one thing more than anything, and that is blood. Come on, I laugh, but it's true. It's true. We all know it. That's why celebrities have always, you know, got into beef and drama just to keep themselves relevant. That's why conveniently people go crazy before a product or a service or something is about to drop. And that's why YouTube titles that lean negative tend to get a higher click-through rate. In fact, if you have seen the title of this video as why it's okay to hate on Mr. Beast or something like that, then that literally means you guys chose to click on that one versus another title, which I haven't decided on yet. But point is, if you do happen to have any issues with uh the Team Water campaign, this is the only time that the News Daddy Empire will uh will sanction hate online because, for example, I came across this tweet which got over 2 million views by simply pointing out the facial expressions of the crowd behind Mr. Beast and suggesting that they don't look very excited about what Team Water is doing. Bro, that is 2 million people that are now seeing this water campaign and that could now donate. And especially if $1 equals one person having clean water for an entire year, then chances are no matter how they see it, it's going to do some good. So, if you want to help, uh, of course, I'll add the donation link in the bio, but you want to spread a little hate in in the comments for for the algorithm, that's also fine. In fact, couple of suggestions. Clapped hair. Big mistake. I lie about being 6'2 when I'm only 6'1. Alex, look at that mistake that he just made when he was editing. He deserves the opposite of a raise. I have the least obedient citizens out of all supreme leaders in the world, even though there's just a few of us. But still, point is, it's all for a good cause. Let's get people some clean water by any means necessary. I'll keep you guys updated on its progress, but for now, moving on. Okay. Um, that didn't take long. Joey Swole is already back. Yeah. Just three days, maybe even two days after he said that he is done. He's quitting social media, he posted his first video back. And he essentially said, "You guys are not going to cancel me. >> Love me or hate me, I am not going anywhere, and you are not going to cancel me." I receive thousands and thousands of messages from people telling me, "Do not quit." how much I help and inspire them, including messages giving me a good kick in the ass that I needed to get back up. So, I am not quitting and I am done apologizing. I'm going to continue making videos calling out bullies, being a voice for the people that can't defend themselves, and making the gym community and the world a better place, as I have done for years. >> Now, here's what's interesting about his return, because I didn't know how people were going to take it. That was pretty big backlash. But turns out, you scroll through the comments, it's actually really hard to find any negative comments about his return. In fact, the majority of the most liked comments on that video at least uh were celebrating the fact that he's back and posting again. And even more interestingly, a lot of the negative comments that I did see weren't about him coming back, but were actually about him apologizing and quitting social media in the first place and kind of bowing to the cancel mob, which was like to me reading this, it was like cancelling in the big 25 looks very different to how it did a few years ago. And what's crazy is that he Joe even said himself that he's pretty much back because he got thousands of messages after he said that he's done as saying that, "Bro, just get the foreign casserole >> back. What are you doing?" And and he called it like a kick up the ass that he needed to just, you know, get back and he realized that the vast majority of people still wanted him to make content. And then on top of that, just literally the day after Joey came back, American Eagle, you know, the brand that's getting the huge backlash with the whole Sydney Sweeney ads, got great jeans ad. Well, they just posted a story finally addressing the whole situation. And like to set this up, just remember almost every time that a brand in particular gets backlash for anything, they are the first to fold and apologize and remove the content or whatever it might have been that may might have been controversial. Friends are always the quickest to fold. But guess what? In something that we haven't seen in a very long time, American Eagle refused to apologize. And they simply said, "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans and is always about her jeans. Her jeans, her story, will continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence their way. Great jeans look good on everyone." What is happening? Is cancel cultural really cancelled? And I mean that's been posted like for 24 hours and that's kind of that they just continued as normal. I don't know if this will you know start to affect their sales if people are going to push this even further. But interestingly I had never even heard of American what is it? American American Eagle. I'd never heard of American Eagle before but now I and millions of others around the world have. And this was for an ad campaign. So probably their most viewed ad campaign ever. And I guess the same thing with Joey Sw. Think about the amount of people who had no idea who he even was before this drama. So it's too soon to suggest that this might have been good for them because who knows where this actually goes. But if you think about someone like Mr. Beast, for example, that supposedly was getting cancelled, Roach has never even addressed it. He just casually dropped the Amazon series that he's been working on for ages, which got huge recognition because of all of the drama that was surrounding it and then just continued on after with making videos and just going about business and he's just doing normal stuff today. So, I mean, we've really got to ask the question, is cancel culture actually cancelled or do you think there is still some life, some hutba in the Let me know your thoughts. I'm actually very interested on this topic to read your comments. Moving on. Also this week, we got the first bits of information about the upcoming movie, the only one that is still holding Marvel together. Spider-Man 4, aka Brand New Day. And now, not only are we going to finally get a Spider-Man series that has four parts, but also this movie is going to have a much more realistic feeling than the previous one, uh, No Way Home. Because we're also hearing now that they will finally be returning to old school film making with this one. and shoot in real locations. And just just to air the room, address the elephant in it. This is not a movie review. This is just interesting pieces of information. Those days are over. I retired. Okay, so basically for the last one, because it was around COVID time, they had to shoot almost all of it on soundstages. But now for this one, they're back out in the wild. And I'm excited for this because even yesterday, actually, they turned Glasgow into freaking New York City. They shut down a whole ass street. So they could perform this stunt where a a tank and there's Tom Holland stump double on top of it. And I'm sure it's going to look cooler in the actual movie, but it basically the tank just drives along the street while they have these cars being flung up in the air. And you know, pre-spoiler a year ahead in the ice. There's going to be a tank in this movie. And also, it doesn't stop there because they also dropped a video showing what the new suit is going to look like. And boy, judging from, you know, just Twitter's reactions to this alone, people love it. And I'm not going to lie, it does look pretty cool. And also, just shout out to Tom Holland, man. In this picture, bro. Looks like he's hardly aged from the first one. Oh, and also last cool bit of information we got from this movie is that Mark Ruffalo will be returning as the Hulk for the movie. So, we get Hulk in this movie as well, which is, I would say, top three characters. So, I just want to say with all of this, my hype meter is building. So, Marvel, please don't you dare mess this one up. Okay, its release date is in July next year. Moving on. Also, this week, and this is probably the most 2025 thing I've ever heard, but Elon Musk just announced that he's going to be bringing back Vine. Vine, remember that thing? In AI form. Now, if you didn't know the reason this is even possible, the Twitter, they bought Vine like almost a decade ago now, but after they shut it down, all the videos disappeared with it. Now, you can still find compilations of them on YouTube and stuff like that, but it's very hard to find specific ones, but then yesterday, Elon tweeted, "Grock Imagine is AI Vine, whatever that's supposed to mean." By the way, we recently found the Vine video archive, thought it had been deleted, and working on restoring user access, so you can post them if you want. But how vines are going to be coming back is the strange part because Reuters reported over a week ago that Vine would be returning in AI form. meaning with this new version of Grock which is called Grock imagine. Uh will is this supposed to mean that these 6second clips are going to be regenerated instead of the actual real clips or is it going to be just a form to be able to search it? because Grock is supposed to be have playing some significant part in this. And then also, if it is just regenerated clips of the original versions, what does that actually mean for the people who made the original vines if they're just now AI versions of themselves? Like, you think about it. Imagine like one of Logan Paul, for example, his his original clips. It's now being recreated and mass distributed by a freaking mega corporation, Twitter. I mean, I guess either way for this whole situation, it's confusing, but in some way or another, if you loved Vine, you might be getting it back very soon. Moving on. What even was that? Oh god, I hate this next story. It just It's so This whole situation, guys, is starting to get just beyond insane. Gain Maxwell, I don't even know how to pronounce her name. Jislane. Jiz Casserole. Maxwell Epstein's former girlfriend and um the the person who used to procure procure procure procure underage girls for Epstein and whoever else and we don't know who the whoever else is. Well, she has been quietly moved this week to an all women's minimum security prison camp in Texas. Why? Like why is there any need for any development in her case especially lately? She was just quietly serving her 20 years in prison without anyone talking or any developments in it. And then suddenly the just in the space of a couple weeks earlier in July she has two meetings with the deputy US attorney general Todd Todd Blunch and what they discussed will not be made uh public by the way. So that's weird. >> That's suspicious. That's weird. >> At the same time, her lawyers are now also pressing the Supreme Court to overturn her conviction again. Why now? And she's also seeking a pardon from President Donald Trump, which is just a strange thing to request in the first place. Why would you expect him to give you a pardon all of a sudden? Unless she knew something. And then I guess makes the situation even stranger, Trump was asked about, are you going to give Gileain Gling Maxwell a pardon? and he says >> it's something I haven't thought about. It's really something. It's something I'm allowed to do it, but it's something I have not thought about. >> Uh which is annoying that I have to even point out it's not a no. And then of course most recently she's been moved from a prison in Florida which housed both men and women to an all women's prison minimum security in just outside of Austin, Texas. And the details of why she was moved have not been made public and will probably never will be. And it's just it's frustrating. you know, because there is there was so much pressure to release the files. It doesn't feel like there's almost anything the public can do at this point to actually make meaningful change, especially in this situation, which is frustrating because we're always told, you know, you know, the people have the power. We live in a democracy. Your vote counts. But when it actually comes to stuff like this, where's the progress? Moving on. I need to get my anger out. I think it's time for preemptive whippings. And look, I'm not taking bribes. Bro just happened to say that he liked my haircut. For the last time, get rid of those sideburns. And he just happened to be adding a little bit of money in there. I didn't even see the money. I was just like, don't care about that. And just know they're going to take quite a severe whipping today. And they're doing it for you so that you remember to subscribe. About 50% of you watching right now, according to my analytics, are not subscribed. Why? How many more lambs must be sacrificed to make meaningful change? Release the Aine files. Maybe three sacrificial lands is all that it takes to finally make some meaningful change cuz I've never sacrificed to the releasing of the files. I think it's about time to kick off some Oh, what the heck? But such a bad speaking of the man himself, Donald Trump has escalated tensions with Russia a little bit this week because he has now ordered the uh two nuclear submarines to be moved and positioned in the appropriate regions. Those regions we do not know where like many other things we do not know. This is a passionate rage one today edition. Huh. Now he said that he's doing this in response to threats which came from a former Russian president Dmitri Medivv de Med Videv Medvidev. Medv Medradev. Good enough. Basically, uh, Dmitri, we'll just call him Dmitri, said that he didn't like Trump giving Russia an ultimatum and then threatening sanctions on them if they didn't end the war. But then he also called Trump's ultimatum theatrical and that Russia didn't care. Then on Thursday, Dmitri, he warned of a dead hand threat, which apparently some military analysts understood as a reference to the code name of Russia's retaliatory nuclear strikes control system. And I don't know, when I read this, I was like, how many times have they threatened nuclear warfare, especially Russia? So, I would say take that with a big grain of salt, because they're just words at this point until they're not. [Music] But anyway, Trump said in response that America is totally prepared for nuclear war and that he was doing this on the basis of safety of our people and we are going to protect our people. Next, also this week, a team of Australian scientists discovered a new species of giant stick insect. Look at that thing. I think you need to rename him. My boy has grown into a freaking log. Now, it measures at around 40 cm. That's six almost 16 inches. And it weighs 44 grams, which apparently is could be actually the heaviest insect ever recorded in Australia. God damn. And like, are those things actually wings? I'd love to know from any, you know, scientists in the comments section because I cannot believe that a 16in log is just flying through the sky, bro. That thing could knock someone out. God, Australia, man. They're just they're just trying to one v one the Amazon jungle at this point. Next. Oh, you know how we had uh radioactive wasps nests last week? Well, now we've got radioactive rhino horns. What a wild world, eh? But this one is actually good news because basically scientists in South Africa are injecting purposefully injecting rhino horns with radioactive isotopes to stop poachers. Now, the purpose of this is that the radioactive material uh even at low levels can be recognized by radiation detectors at airports and borders, making it much harder for any poachers trying to take the horns out of the country and thus getting them arrested and wiped off the map. Researchers also confirmed that the test conducted in the pilot study showed that the radioactive material was not harmful to the rhinos saying we have demonstrated beyond scientific doubt that the process is completely safe for the animal. Oh, but the first thing that I thought when I read this was like imagine the first scientist that suggested this idea. It'd be sat around the table like how do we how do we think outside the box and stop rhino poaching? And then one bro will raise his hand and be like I've got an idea. Let's make the horns radioactive. What the next? Oh, also another follow-up. Remember a couple of weeks ago, we had the man, the legal caretaker of the Annabelle doll, Dan Rivera, pass away? Well, there's a strange update to it because the doll uh has now got a new legal guardian, and that is comedian Matt Refe and YouTuber Ed Casty. In fact, they're not just the new legal guardians of the doll, RIP to them, but also the entire house/muse which houses it. And this thing is often called the most haunted house in the world and also often referred to as one of the world's most prominent pieces of paranormal history, inspiring entire films like The Conjuring, Annabelle, of course, The Amityville Horror, etc. I mean, I actually heard about this, so I had a little look and it basically it was a museum that was opened up in the 1950s by a couple, Ed and Lorine Warren. And over time, they apparently collected around 750 what they call like haunted artifacts or cursed, I don't know, whatever you'd like to call them. And I guess in a ironic twist, a comedian and a YouTuber now runs the show. It kind of takes away the gravity and the scariness of it. the fact that a a comedian Matt Refe owns it. But anyway, he's going to be reopening it for tours and for people to even stay the night, which is cool, I guess. But yeah, if they do come up missing or dead, um, get it to themselves. They knew what they were getting into next. Oh, and then lastly, I want to talk about this because Alex actually, to my surprise, accepted the beard challenge. did not expect that was a shot in the dark. I did not expect him to. But his terms was that he'll shave his beard if I don't ever shave until his beard grows back, which is interesting, but I also feel like I can't grow a beard, which I guess will make it doubly as embarrassing, which is fair. I will look very disgusting and pathetic because I it'll it'll just be whispers. What if I have to go to a very serious event? It's a tough one. You know what, Alex? If you're serious about this, if you are serious, what's your time? How long does your beard take to grow back? I accept. I don't care. I accept your challenge. We'll talk. We'll talk over the details and how we're going to make this work. >> So, it begins. >> So, just know that the petition for Alex to shave his beard has worked because you know what? In the Empire, if enough people put they they want something like the the files to be released or the beard to come off, it happens because yes, we might be a supreme leader authoritarian authoritarian ship. Yeah, we still have a just leader that listens to the people. And I think with that being said, subscribe to the channel. I love you. Have a great start to the week and I will see you in for the midweek bo be well Wednesday. See you then. [Music]
