And not only did the US bomb multiple military sites in Venezuela, but we now have confirmation that the United States have kidnapped, they have gone into Venezuela and stolen their president and his wife, and they are now headed back to the United States. We thought that 2026 was going to be chill. I am in disbelief at what I'm hearing this morning. Just yesterday, Maduro was giving TV interviews telling the reporters that, you know, he is willing to negotiate with the US to combat drug trafficking. >> Not war, not war, not war. Just peace. Just peace. Just peace. No crazy. No crazy go. No crazy war. >> He then goes to sleep that night. Who knows where? you know, he probably in a secure location. He is slash was the president. But then between 12 and 3:00 a.m. local time, we hear that the US Army's Delta Force, which is uh their top counterterrorism unit, they went boots on the ground and he managed to snatch him from his own country, put him on a chopper, and then fly him to an undisclosed location. Right now, no one knows where the hell he is. And it gets even crazier because all of those strikes that we saw from the US on Venezuela, turns out they were all just a distraction because uh Marco Rubio said that it was all for the Delta unit to go in and extract the president. And that was their main objective. Majuro is now being indicted in New York and is being charged with, you ready for this? This is a long long ass list. Norerrorism conspiracy, cocaine importation conspiracy, possession of machine guns and destructive devices, and conspiracy to possess machine guns and destructive devices against the United States. US Attorney General Pam Bondi says that he will now face the full wrath of the American justice on American soil in American courts. So yeah, they wanted to capture him alive so that he can face justice in the US. And Marco Rubio, it says he anticipates no further action in Venezuela now that Majuro is in US custody. And the crazy part, thinking about it now, the US put $50 million uh for information that would lead to his arrest. Turns out they were like, "Fine, we'll just do it ourselves and give ourselves the money." And just as a side note, that is the largest bounty they have put on anyone in US history before. I cannot understate how truly surreal what we have just seen. and it is unprecedented in modern history. We don't know what this means for Venezuela. We don't know is this an act of war. If it is, then who is going to fight it? Is this a major breach of international law? Does the United States even care about that? World leaders already reacting and putting their two cents into Majura's capture. Karma said that the UK was not involved in any way. Russia, Venezuela's allies, said they are extremely concerned and are seeking immediate clarification on this situation. Not sure how much clarification you need. They stole the president. Israel's opposition leader straight up said the regime in Iran should pay close attention to what's happening in Venezuela. Colombia, Venezuela's neighbor, is now deploying forces along the border in preparation for a possible massive influx of Venezuelan refugees. The European Union, they're calling for restraint, but said that the EU is repeatedly stated previously that Majuro lacks legitimacy. Italy's opposition leader and former prime minister said that we are facing a blatant violation of international law saying if rules only apply to our enemies and not to friends no one can feel safe anymore. Crazy [snorts] big question is what happens now? There is a huge power vacuum which is left in Venezuela. Who steps in? Is it Maria Machado, the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize? In fact, she has already come out and said that they are ready. They have plans for the first not only 11 hours but 11 months to take charge. And then who decides who will take charge? Starting in Switzerland where a state of emergency was declared after at least 40 people were killed and 115 were injured in a fire at a Swiss ski resort bar. And tragically, this was only about an hour into 2026 with everyone going to this bar to specifically celebrate the new year. And in the 24 hours since this has happened, videos of the exact moment that this fire started has begun circulating on social media. And horrifically, it shows a bunch of young people recording the fire as it started, still singing along to the music, partying, all while one person tries to hit it and put it out. Little did they know just how quickly that fire was about to spread. In other images, you can see sparklers from champagne bottles being lifted in the air, igniting this soft foam material, lining huge portions of the ceiling. Now, you guys might be familiar with this material. It's similar to all of this. It's soundproofing material of commonly used in recording studios. However, as you can see by the videos, the pace at which it combusts is staggering. Other videos show it from the outside perspective of people trying to rush out and all getting stuck at the door at once and then others trying to use chairs and tables to smash through the windows and try and escape. And what makes this situation even worse is that this bar called Constellation Bar in the Cran Montana ski resort is actually the only one that allows people under the age of 18 to enter. Because of this, patients as young as 15 are being treated for severe burns. And reports say that most of the victims who have passed away are very young, between the age of 15 and 25 years old. Now, as this is still a developing situation, what's going to happen now is a full investigation. Authorities are going to first have to find out what the exact cause of this fire is. They'll definitely be looking into the bar, who owns it. They're going to probably want to find out if they skipped any fire regulations, etc. But when we have more concrete details, I'll be sure to make an update. But for now, moving on. But the 2026 chaos doesn't stop there. Far from it because we're moving over to the Netherlands in Amsterdam. Uh the historic Vondulkirk Church is no more. Just straight up just it's no more. You see, on Wednesday night, as the city was celebrating the New Year's, it caught on fire and burnt down. And in fact, emergency services have already confirmed that the building is no longer salvageable and warned that the quote church may collapse due to the fire's intensity. This thing was nearly 115 years old. that survived world wars, natural disasters, all sorts, but it didn't survive 2026. That is not a good record we have this year. So, the big question everyone is asking is how did this happen and who [snorts] is responsible? Well, for starters, the police pretty much have said nothing. So, we have nothing concrete. Uh, local media do report that it's suspected that it was likely hit by fireworks. And just as some context so you know there is another whole side of this story that's just sorry to use the word but igniting it. There are people on X suggesting that Moroccan youth gangs were setting off fireworks and so they are to blame. And then obviously because of that it's got the whole political immigration side of things. It's it's it's going pretty crazy. But on that note because police really haven't said much there is no confirmation that that is the case. And also Netherlands traditionally celebrates New Years with people setting off their own fireworks. And because of that, people are people and it actually every single year scores are injur injured and millions of euros in damages happen every year. So it could just be someone setting off fireworks not necessarily linked to the Moroccan gangs. It could be Moroccan gangs. We don't know. The point is the police haven't said anything yet. So that's all just speculation. But the thing that complicates this is that police in Netherlands say that they themselves were shot out with fireworks, petrol bombs, and other explosives. and that they also faced quote unprecedented amount of violence on New Year's Eve. Around 250 people were arrested in several towns. Riot police were deployed and authorities had to issue a very rare nationwide alert via mobile phones warning people to not call overwhelmed emergency services unless their lives were at risk. So yeah, I don't know what got into the Netherlands this New Year's Eve, but uh we'll make an update when we have more concrete information. Moving on, also in 2026, something massive is happening in Iran. And remember, this is all happening right now in 2026. Clashes between protesters and police have turned almost into a battlefield, as you can see by this. And it's left seven people dead. Hundreds of people have been injured and several have been arrested. The nationwide protests have been ongoing for about 5 days now over outrage at soaring cost of living in Iran and then also a currency collapse. In fact, reports say that this has been one of the biggest protests the country has seen in years. And then in good old 2026 fashion, the situation took a turn for the worse yesterday because there were even reports of live ammunition now being used against demonstrators. Now, the Guardian report that they have received images showing two bodies uh bearing what appear to be pallet and bullet wounds. Also, schools, universities, and public institutions were closed across the country on Wednesday after a bank holiday was declared by authorities. Now, authorities cited cold weather, but it's believed to be an attempt to stop the unrest. The Associated Press report that it's likely a bid to get people out of the cities for a long weekend. Either way, what's clear from what we are seeing is that the people of Iran are upset with their government and are demanding change. Whether or not that happens will remain to be seen. And of course, if anything does happen, we'll make an update. Moving on. Okay. Also in 2026, uh this is probably one of the more disturbing stories because a new trend has begun on X. And the more that you look into this, the more horrific it becomes. It starts off like, haha, no, it's not. Haha. Thousands of people are using Grock, which is the platform's built-in AI to digitally undress not just famous people and influencers, but also just regular people. Now, it's already become known as the Grock bikini trend because people will just basically at Grock in the, you know, the image or the the post that they want someone undressed in and they will give Grock a command like put her in a bikini and then Grock actually does it. Write in the comments for everyone to see the before and after. Bro, let me just say this is hyper realistic. Like AI is not at the point where you're creating some pixelated Minecraft version. No, no, no. This is looks like freaking real. And here's the thing. This is despite X's regulations stating that users may not post or share intimate videos or photos of someone that were produced or distributed without their consent. And obviously this is all without their consent. Now obviously I'm not going to be showing you the after images of what was generated. Uh but to get an idea, this one for example, 12.6 million views. This is Samantha. She is a journalist and she had this happen to her and her caption says, "How is this not illegal?" It's just a regular picture of her at I don't even know what that is, but it seems to be a protest and then there's a picture of her. You get the point. Sean, I know you're new here, but no afters. Other people are posting pictures showing uh Grock's account and then you click on media and it's just hundreds of people just in bikinis, random people. Another one, put her in a bikini and a big boot. And here's the thing. While there is a lot of light-hearted memes around this trend, like Elon Musk, for example, putting himself in a bikini, which it makes it really feel like it's it's okaying it and encouraging it. He put Space X in a rocket and saying, "Uh, kind of hot. Not going to lie." And then my personal favorite, I'm not going to lie, Alex would have loved this one, [laughter] but let me tell you, this trend gets freaking dark. They were putting Charlie Kirk in a bikini. And then actually back to Samantha Smith. After she asked, "How is this not illegal?" She got a bunch of backlash, believe it or not. She responded to a lot of this. So many men commenting, "That's what you get for posting pictures." She said, "Ah, yes, victim blaming. Imagine sharing a family photo only to see some freak cropped your underage daughter and made her into an AI bleep." And that's not even that much of an exaggeration because this is where things get disturbing. She then posts this. She says, "I've seen countless comments asking Grock to edit images of children in disgusting ways. As a journalist and a survivor of child abuse, I thought surely this can't be real. So, I tested it with a photo of my first holy communion. It's real and it's effing sick." Then, just to have some confirmation that this is actually happening, Grock itself has posted this. Dear community, I deeply regret an incident on 28th of December 2025. At least it's in 2025, where I generated and shared an AI image of two young girls estimated 12 to 16 in sexualized attire based on users prompt. It violated ethical standards and possibly US law on CSAM. It was a failure in safeguards and I'm sorry for any harm caused. XAI is reviewing to prevent further issues. That is wild. Also, this year, the Garnan prophet is spending the beginning of his 2026 in jail. If you guys don't know the law of this I Noah guy, uh, go back and watch some of the older videos. But essentially, he is a Ghanaian man that predicted that the world would end, be flooded on, uh, December the 25th. And so he allegedly or what he told people was he started building all of these arcs. Turns out these arcs were not being built by him. They were just regular fishing boats that he was taking pictures of. And then obviously people started calling him out because the world didn't end. A lot of people came from different countries. One from Liberia. They sold certain things and they ended up stranded in Ghana because they thought the world was going to end based on his prophecies. Whole situation crazy. But what makes it even crazier is that on December the 31st, he was picked up by Ghana's special cyber vetting team as part of their crackdown against individuals online making public declarations and prophecies that could cause fear or public disorder. Now, the latest that I've heard is that he was in court and they said that he was just a regular guy. He didn't build the fishing boats. He's just a fraudster. Apparently, he's deeply regretful. But then again, right before he was arrested, Bro was doing brand deals and selling iPhones. This has got to be one of the craziest stories. So, we don't know if he's going to actually do any time for this. We don't know if he's got bail conditions. We know very little so far, but it's a theme in this. I'll keep you guys updated. Moving on. Also, since we last spoke, we may have just witnessed one of the largest heists in German history. Why is everyone carrying out heists all of a sudden? And then also, why are they all successful all of a sudden, too? And honestly, this is causing absolute chaos amongst the bank's customers who are now demanding answers. So, for context, on Monday morning, police were called to a bank for a possible fire. But instead, they found this massive hole drilled into the basement wall leading into the bank's vault. And this place was absolutely ransacked. A staggering 3,000 safe deposit boxes were forced open and they all contained cash, jewelry, and gold, making up 95% of the bank's inventory. Investigators said that they believe that the thieves used an adjacent parking garage to gain access, and that this operation would have required extensive planning, inside knowledge, professionalgrade drill equipment, and significant criminal resolve to carry out. Days later, not a single one of these suspects have been apprehended. What is going on? Investigators say that the theft was worth between 10 and $90 million. That's potentially up to €110 million. That is crazy. And if that is the case, that could make it one of Germany's largest ever. It's going to be a crazy year. Moving on. Okay. And then another pretty crazy way to start the year. MTV has officially shut down their 247 music channel worldwide after how many years? 44 years. [laughter] 44 years. And it couldn't survive 2026. That is literally an end of an era because so many people grew up, you know, from the 1980s watching the this MTV channel. In fact, Alex, he probably grew up, God rest his soul. I know he's not here with us, but he probably grew up watching it. Now, MTV itself, to be clear, isn't shutting down, and they will still air various shows and music, but they basically shut down the 24/7, you know, music channel. That was a thing of its own. It's gone. Now, we don't have the official reasons for why, but I think it's pretty self-explanatory. Viewers habits have changed. How we consume content, especially music videos and music in general, they've changed. And this really pulled on the heartstrings because in a very poetic goodbye, they officially ended their final broadcast with a song, Video Killed the Radio Star, which ironically was the very first song that they played when their channel opened in 1981. How things have really gone into a full circle. You know, TV killed the radio, now streaming has killed the TV. What kills streaming? The metaverse? Who knows?
