Holy guys, since we last spoke, it's been getting real. [music] We have reached a tipping point in Minnesota after an ICE agent fatally shot a 37-year-old mother and US [music] citizen. The situation in Iran is at a boiling point with protesters allegedly taking over entire cities. The US in Russia just had an insane escalation in tensions after American and British armed forces [music] seized a Russian flagship with Russian citizens on board. A New York City prison is turning into the real life Arkham Asylum. People are accusing the Trump administration of insider trading again after an anonymous trader made [music] nearly half a million dollars on Maduro's arrest. And we are dangerously close [music] to 1 million subscribers. Who knows? If you subscribe right now, you might be the millionth subscriber. But we are not there yet. So, I think it is time to stuff the yapping and let's go. RED. [music] >> OKAY, I guess how do we not start today with the story of an immigration agent fatally shooting a US citizen? Because from the kind of fury we are seeing today, this could be a major tipping point. I'm sure you guys have probably seen the video by now, but basically yesterday in Minneapolis, a woman who has now been identified as 37-year-old Rene Good seems to be blocking the road from ICE agents passing through a residential area. Now, there's a crowd of people lining the pavement who appear to be protesting. And that's when an ICE officer approaches the car and says, "Get the f out of the vehicle." Now, he attempts to open her car door. Uh that's when she starts reversing and then accelerating forward. And this exact moment when she starts accelerating is heavily crucial. The officer fires at least two shots. Some reports are saying three. And from the pictures of the car, we can determine that one of the shots went through the front of the windshield and the other one or two shots seemingly came through the uh side window which was open. And where the bullets have come from will be very critical in the investigation. Now, I just want to say before I show you both sides, I urge you guys to go and watch this video yourself and make your own determination because I probably because of YouTube moderation will only be able to show you freeze frames of this video. Now, Trump and federal officials, they are claiming that this woman accelerated to willingfully uh attack and run over the agent in front of her car. However, others, including the Minneapolis mayor, says that she was not trying to hit the officer, but trying to flee the scene. People are being hurt. Families are being ripped apart. Long-term Minneapolis residents that have contributed so greatly to our city, to our culture, to our economy are being terrorized, and now somebody is dead. That's on you. And to be clear, even if she was trying to flee the scene, which is never a good idea, that alone under the federal constitutional standard does not permit an officer to use lethal force. The legal question becomes, did this officer reasonably perceive an imminent threat of death or grievous bodily harm to himself or others? Because in the eye of the law, that is pretty much all that matters. But we are not just dealing with the law here. We are dealing with an already existing huge political divide with very high emotions. I mean, just look at what happened in 2020 with the death of George Floyd. How the next few days play out after this is going to be critical. And the thing is, the city's mayor is already making huge statements. He said this >> and I have a message for ICE to ICE. Get the out of Minneapolis. >> He continued saying they are already trying to spin this as an action of self-defense. Having seen the video myself, I want to tell everyone directly that is Now, the agent who has not yet been identified can be seen walking away after firing those fatal shots. But Christy Gnome, she said that he was struck by the vehicle and he needed to go to hospital for medical attention uh and treatment and he was released from the hospital that same day. In the wake of the killing, thousands of people already gathered at the scene and they started chanting, "Rise up and take a stand." and also an Instagram account that appears to belong to the woman describes herself as a poet, a writer, a wife, and a mother. Now, it is worth noting that not everyone is politically on one side or the other and are having very distinct opinions about this. One person said, "Lft, it's murder, right? It's domestic terrorism. Reality, two human beings panicked in a high pressure situation where so many things could have and should have gone differently. I mean, if the tensions weren't high enough already, this is this is pretty big. I mean, the real question is how are people going to react to this? Because no matter what side you're on, this feels like such a delicate situation. And if it is handled wrong in the next coming days by either the Trump administration or the officials of Minneapolis and Minnesota, then [snorts] man, it's going to be rough. Anyway, as always, what do you guys think about this? Let me know your thoughts in the comments, but for now, moving on. Okay, so as if tensions weren't high enough domestically, well, tensions shot all the way up yesterday internationally as well. This is because the United States seized a Russian flag ship in the Atlantic Ocean, which is linked to Venezuela. And the British military got involved as well because they supported the US militarily in this operation. And essentially what is meant by Russian flagged is that the ship is registered to Russia and falls under their jurisdiction. But what's so crazy about this situation is that this ship was being pursued by the United States for days, maybe even weeks. And then late yesterday, reports started coming out that a second Russian ship and a submarine, they went to go and escort this pursuit ship to safety. So the Russians getting involved is pretty incredible. So naturally, everyone started asking what is on this ship that is so important because yes, it is an oil tanker, but no, reports state that there was no oil on it. So why did the Russians care so much? Because there's been a number of ships that the US has already seized. Why do they care about this one when there's no oil on it? Then only hours after we hear the reports coming out that Russia is sending support, we hear that the United States has captured the ship despite the Russian escort. Now, as expected, Russia not happy about this at all. And I would really like to know what were the Russian ship and submarine doing when the US just swooped in and took it. Did they just say like, "All right, get a let's not escalate this situation." What happened? Now, Russia called the seizure illegal, especially since the ship was in international waters. They're also demanding the return of the Russian citizens on board. Yes, Russian citizens are involved in this as well. And just when everyone started saying, "Oh, Cold War 2.0," Trump didn't help matters because he tweeted just hours following this that uh he wants to increase military spending by 50%. No, 50% for the United States military is 500 billion because their annual budget is 1 trillion. and they want to go take it from 1 trillion to $1.5 trillion by 2027. That is intense. Now, I cannot confirm this next piece of information, but journalist and frontline reporter in Ukraine, uh, Kalin reports says that the ship was part of a high-risk weapons transfer to Venezuela from Russia to gain leverage over the United States in Ukraine negotiations. And if that is the case, also on the same day, a similar Venezuela linked oil tanker was seized as well by the United States near the Caribbean Sea. And this time it was flagged by Panama. So yeah, the United States military, it's been a busy 2026 so far for them uh around the world. So as always, I'll keep you guys updated of now. Moving on. But something that everyone is taking very seriously right now is what's happening in Iran because protesters are now reportedly taking over cities. You heard that right now. Right off the bat, uh Iran have denied this. They said, "No, no, no. Protesters are not taking over cities, guys. Relax." But they would say that. So, let me give you the other side. If you didn't know, they're on their 10th day of nationwide protests in which 36 people have died and 1,200 have been arrested. But now, according to Fox News and many other reports at the city of Abdanan, security forces and authorities have reportedly been overwhelmed, forcing them to withdraw and flee. These reports state that ordinary people are apparently taking control of police stations, government buildings, and the streets, all while chanting death to their supreme leader. We're also seeing a lot of reports of demonstrators appealing for Donald Trump to step in. And after Venezuela happened, now it seems like something like, oh, that might actually be something that Trump would consider. I mean, he actually literally said he they are locked and loaded and ready to go. So, the whole situation in Iran right now has just escalated massively. And according to similar reports, the same situation has happened in another city in the west. And it's believed that even more cities could be taken over by protesters in the coming days. But the question is, Iran has seen even bigger protests like this before. in 2022 and their government is still there. So the question is but update today uh just when we thought that this whole situation was already at a tipping point today it is escalated so much further. Iran are now suggesting that they could carry out preemptive strikes on foreign powers like the United States and Israel because they say the protests are now being seen as quote aligning with the enemy and that foreign powers may be involved in inciting some of the civil unrest. So, it seems that Iran is seeing some of the comments made by US and Israeli officials as an incitement to violence. And today, Iran's chief judge said, "If anyone comes into the streets for riots or to create insecurity, then no excuse remains for them. They are now operating in line with the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran." And the thing is, the country's army chief echoed this sentiment as well. He says that they are taking this anti-government rhetoric as a threat and that they will not tolerate a situation in which the country continues without a response. In fact, they promise a stronger response than the 12-day war between Israel and Iran back in June 2025. But here's where things get really crazy. Because the eldest son of the former leader of Iran who was ousted in the 1970s, that massive Iran revolution and like that government in the 1970s were very pro- US, pro-UK, pro- Western ideologies. Well, that eldest son, he's been supporting a regime change in the country. He's been very active on social media and he's been actively encouraging these protests. In fact, in a real on Instagram that he posted yesterday that it's got over 80 million views. Keep in mind, Iran's population is just over 90 million. He is calling everyone in the nation on the 8th and the 9th, so over the weekend at precisely 8:00 p.m. to start chanting. Imagine that. A whole country starts chanting at the same time. That would be something that I don't know how the Iranian government is going to respond to that. All of these stories back to back like we are genuinely seeing. First, Venezuela, then we've got the the US ships, then we've got what's happening in Iran, then we've got the ICE situation, all in the first week. Some pretty unprecedented stuff we are living through right now. Aren't you glad I can update you though? Because everyone on Tik Tok, all of these situations, silence from me. It's silence cuz even I am protesting in 20 I'm protesting Tik Tok. Man, we all really woke up and chose chose war in 26, didn't we? >> [snorts] >> What a chaotic year. Moving on. Okay, how can we not start today off with good lord, is it happening again? Yet again, there are questions being raised about how someone has got information to place large bets and make large amounts of money off of something that is going on in the Trump administration. So, in the latest case, according to a report from the BBC, an anonymous gambler earned nearly half a million dollars after they made a bet that Maduro would be out of power just hours before he was captured. And remember, not even Congress was informed about this operation. This was like CIA levels of secrecy. Now, also very interestingly, the odds on Poly Market that Maduro would be out of power by the end of January suddenly rose in the hours before this mission eventually ended up happening. And actually, the account in question that won all of this money was only made very recently, actually only a month prior. And they took positions on four bets, all relating to Venezuela. And in the end, the anonymous user earned more than $436,000 from a $32,000 bet. 32,000? I don't think you're placing 32K. Just off a hunch, huh? What should we do on Tuesday? Uh, been watching the news lately. Someone looks pretty crazy in Venezuela. Let's just put it all on there. And the thing is, you would normally just chalk something like this up to a coincidence. Fair enough. But the more times this happens, the less likely that makes sense, because just this year in March, another anonymous trader opened a 50x leverage bet on Bitcoin and Ethereum shortly before the Trump administration announced a cryptocurrency reserve. Bro, this trade went from 4 million to 200 million before that. Then again over in October, uh, someone opened a fresh account, placed a bunch of short positions on Bitcoin and Ethereum all the way up until 1 minute before Trump sent out a tweet that ended up crashing the market, threatening China with tariffs. 1 minute. And it was only 30 minutes into the markets crashing that this person closed their position and they earned between 160 and $190 million profit in less than 24 hours. I mean, Donald Trump Jr. even serves as an advisor at Poly Marcus. I mean, is that a smoking gun? Does that mean anything? Not really. But it just doesn't have a nice picture to it given all of the history. But anyway, what do you guys think? I think we all need a little bit of insider information right now because boy, 190 million looking juicy right now. Moving on. Okay, let's talk about New York for a second because every single day is starting to look more like Gotham because tell me how just one of their prisons can have that many high-profile criminals. So on Monday, not only did MDC Brooklyn prison uh casually receive the former leader of Venezuela, but then yesterday 6ix9ine handed himself in to serve a 3month sentence. And now you got those two as well. Let me just remind you of who else has served time or is currently in there. This is where Diddy was being held. until he was transferred to Fort Dicks. Yes, I said it. Fort Dicks. Other names you might recognize include R. Kelly, Martin Skrey, Luigi Manion, Jeffrey Epstein's accomplice, Glain Maxwell, Sam Bankman Freed, drug kingpin El Chapo, Fetty Wap, and then even uh the Honduras's former president, Hernandez. Jesus. CNN described the prison as dark, overcrowded, and loud. They said, "While all prisons are miserable places to be, the MDC is maybe the most miserable of all." Brother, is that not Arkham? Now, here's the thing. The jail has also struggled with chronic understaffing complaints about mold, fungus, and poor food quality, and also about a number of inmates being killed and murdered. And some person was, you know what, 44 times. 44 times. Just actually count 44 and think about how demented you would have to be to continue up to the number 44. That's crazy. In fact, MDC prison in Brooklyn is so bad that at least two federal judges have refused to send defendants there over its worsening conditions. That's wild. So, of course, that is exactly where they're going to put Maduro. Moving on. All right. So, you probably know by now Trump wants Greenland. Now, the latest update on that situation, I think overnight, six different European countries have had to uh issue joint statements basically saying Greenland's borders belong to its people and only Denmark and Greenland can decide on matters concerning their relations. But Trump is still saying the US, nay nay, we don't want it, we need it. Now, they haven't ruled out military action. Um, and if they did, that would just absolutely destroy NATO. And if they try and buy it, well, Denmark has already said it's not up for sale. So, what do they do? Well, this guy uh randomly has a solution to the whole situation that none of us saw coming. A man named Yuri Gellar, who according to his bio is one of the world's most investigated mystifiers, and he apparently originated spoon bending, which I'm unfamiliar with your arts, good sir. Sean, do you know what spoon bending is? >> There is no spoon. Anyway, this man is now offering his own personal island to Donald Trump and the United States of America. Now, it's called Lamb Island, which makes me feel we need it for our sacrificial lambs, and then instead of getting wall whipping, we just ship you off to Lamb Island. >> Keep moving. Maybe we should buy Lamb Island, rename it to Sacrificial Lamb Island, and then just have our own private island to go and hang out, which now sounds a little bit weird considering Jeffrey Epstein's island, but okay. Sacrificial Lamb Island will be very different. We'll buy it at 10 mil. Anyway, it's called Lamb Islands off the coast of Scotland. And he made a post here on X. And he urged Trump to adopt it as the 51st state and use it as a military base. He said, "Dock your navy boats and aircraft there. And if you get into a war with China, I will come to your rescue." Now, he is in the arts of spoon bending, which I'm still unfamiliar with, but he said, "Uh, it is protected by mystical forces, and you will succeed with its powers." So, I have a feeling the US might not take this seriously, but we will sell it to us. Sacrificial lamb island coming at 10 mil. Moving on. Okay, this next story is so wild that a dormant YouTube channel that hasn't posted a single video in 6 years randomly posts this with a caption saying, "I was genuinely upset by this. So, I spent the entire winter break researching and making a this video to spread awareness." Oh, an awareness you have spread because even accounts like Penguin Zero is talking about it and it is getting millions of views for good reason because here's the quick version. Now, there's a popular protein powder brand from Northern California called Holes Nutrition and it's pretty widely known for tasting absolutely amazing. Everyone on TikTok apparently raves about it tasting just like cake batter all while giving you 22 g of protein per scoop and only 3 g of sugar. Hell yeah. But when something seems too good to be true, ho ho ho, sorry, Christmas is over. It's most likely, [laughter] most likely it is. And of course, one Redditor, it's always a Redditor, they decided to send three flavors of this protein powder to a lab, including chocolate cake, lemon cake, cinnamon crumb cake. Bro, I'm not even joking. What they got back is staggering. Instead of 22 gram of protein per scoop, it had over 20 gram of carbs and only three gram of protein. Brother, people were buying this protein for $75 a bag for years. And I mean, look, the money is one thing, but imagine training in the gym, lifting weights, downing these protein shakes after, and looking at yourself and saying, "Why the hell am I gaining weight?" Well, it turns out you've been drinking cake batter after exercising every day. And it gets even worse because people in the Reddit thread said that their blood sugar spiked after drinking it. Some even said that they bought it for diabetic family members who then started having glucose issues after. Like that is horrific. And what makes it even scarier is that this is not the first time for the fitness industry to have this. Some actual large fitness brands like Balar Nutrition, Premier Protein, Muscle Milk. They've been sued for mislabeling how much protein is in their powder. And think about the whole creatine gummy scandal. If you haven't watched that, go watch Jame Smith's video on it. Insane. They're labeling these things saying five grams of creatine per gummy. All you need is one a day. Send them off to the lab. Some contained zero. Like you, HOW CAN YOU TRUST ANYTHING? SO, who knows where this ends? the vitamins you take, the the milk you drink, the reality you live in, it's all a lie. Moving on. Okay, here's the title for the next story. Some Chinese people can no longer afford to have >> corn casserole. >> I don't know if I can say that on here. Alex, beep it out, [snorts] Sean. And the government is to blame. What a what a mood killer that is. [laughter] Here's here's the backstory for that headline. So, in our parents' generation, the the world crisis that was going to end everything was overpopulation. There's going to be too many people. We're going to run out of resources and we're all going to die. And some countries took this threat pretty damn seriously, like China. And this is when they implemented the very infamous one child policy. And if you had more than one child, yeah, eff and find out. Literally effing. Jokes ain't landing today. But as you know, by the big 26, everything has changed. And turns out that crisis didn't happen. And it's now the opposite. A lot of these countries are now facing population collapse. They need more people. In fact, China's birth rate has now reached the lowest in recorded history. So, what are they going to do? Well, yep, they're going to get involved again. Hopefully, it'll work this time. And their newest incentive to get people to have more babies is to make contraception more expensive. I kid you not. China is now removing a policy which previously made birth control like condoms exempt from tax, thus raising the price. And as you'd expect, this has received a lot of backlash from people in China. Because as one person put it, now not only can we not afford to have children, but we can't even afford to have sex. I mean, does that feel like the right move? Because if any babies are born to parents that simply had the child because they couldn't afford something like condoms, I don't think they can afford to have children. And then it's like, is the government winning? You've now got a life that wasn't really wanted in the first place. And I mean, that's not even to mention uh the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. like the number one reason for using that kind of, you know, a condom. About 1.4 million people are already living with HIV in China. I don't get this one. But here's the thing. Most countries outside of Africa are dealing with something similar. They're facing fertility rates below replacement rates. So, coming to a government near you, who knows? [laughter] This all might be expensive and cooked for us all. Moving on. Okay, moving over to South Korea now. and they actually have the lowest fertility rate in the world. But they are trying to solve a very different problem. Their president is not trying to raise prices. Uh they actually want their public health care to cover hair loss treatment for male pattern baldness. Now, China, that is how you raise birth rates. This week, President Lee instructed his government to consider extending public health insurance to cover hair loss treatments, which in theory would make certain products like Roane, minoxidil, and also in theory maybe hair transplants. Why not covered by South Korea's national health scheme? And the reason for this law change is according to him, boldness has become a matter of survival rather than a cosmetic concern for young people. A matter of survival. And apparently that is because it creates a sense of alienation. Damn. How savage are people in Korea that I'm going to be alienated because I'm balding. Damn. Anyway, um let me know your thoughts on this. But for now, moving on. Talking about countries passing pretty cool laws. Vietnam has just passed a YouTube law, which boy, it's going to be it's going to be loved. From the 15th of February this year, YouTube will have to make their ads skippable after no longer than >> Do you like cars? Do you like green cars? [music] Well, at greencar.com, all we sell is green cars. You could buy one for your mom and if she doesn't like it, set it on fire. All of our cars are highly flammable at greencars.com. [music] >> 5 seconds for everyone living in Vietnam. Yes, they are going back to the old days. Remember when you can just skip ads after a couple of seconds? No, now you have to watch for 10 hours. And this is because of a new decree that the country has passed, which doesn't just, you know, apply to YouTube, but all websites and all social media. And it's not even just video, because the regulations also extend to all of the, you know, those fake exit buttons where you click there and, oh, it actually just takes you to the stupid website. Well, they're getting rid of those, too. So, when you see an X, it's real in Vietnam. So, I mean, all we can say, >> does your husband suffer from halfopen mouth? Are you tired [music] of feeding him? We can help. >> W Vietnam. Moving on. And then for our final story of the day, if you thought you had seen it all, well, guess what? Let me introduce you to the squatter hunter. [laughter] What are we talking about here? >> Yes, squatting in certain cities of America has got so out of hand that people like James Jacob over here are creating entire somehow legal businesses where they remove squatters from people's properties. And the crazy part about this one is that James Jacob is is going in there while wielding a samurai sword. He's got smoke grenades. Sometimes he even has shotguns. He's got a leather jacket. Brother was watching Too Much Blade and he said, "How can I turn my fantasies into reality?" Oh, and also his team is apparently trained in martial arts. It's It's always people with two first names, isn't it? Anyway, his company is called ASAP Squatters Removal and he has a 95% uh success rate. I'd love to know the cases about the 5% personally. And in fact, James claims to be the most reliable service in the entire industry. He's been doing it for 7 years and he will charge you $10,000 to get rid of your squatters. But I know that boy, they can they can cost a lot to have squatters take over one of your properties. It's costing you a lot more than 10K. and he is risking going to prison every single time he wields a sword at some squatters. And I know what you're thinking. I thought it too. How the hell is this legal? Well, firstly, it's America. And secondly, according to experts, as long as he doesn't go too far with how he threatens or what he does to these squatters, it's okay. But yeah, I thought that one was pretty funny. Um, you can really find a business for [laughter] anything in America. And that is where we wrap today's video. Now, I wanted to give you guys an update on the whole Tik Tok thing today, but I am having a call with Tik Tok. So, I'll give you an update on Friday's video because I think there's something juicy, something juicy coming through. But, thank you very much to all of you that have come from Tik Tok over to YouTube. It really does mean everything to this channel. Like, we would not survive if we didn't have YouTube running. Let me just tell you that. And as always, for the OGs of YouTube, we love you as always. and we will see you on Friday. Woo! All right, have a fantastic middle of the week. See you then. Woo!
